We're expecting a babgirl in June and This dresser/changing table is perfect for our babygirls room. Yes, it was a pain in the butt to put together took me about 4 hours but I did it on my own and it probably took me longer than it should have since i'm 6 1/2 months pregnant. It's sturdy and the quality is great for the price, it's the perfect size and its actually bigger than it appears by the pictures. I'm very pleased with it and can't wait until until our princess is here so we can try it out :)

I read the other reviews which can make you nervous about purchasing. It took me a couple of hours to put together with no one helping. Have a good open space to lay everything out and to work. Be sure to tighten the lock nuts not just snug them and it's very sturdy.  This isn't rocket science.

Don't judge by the bad reviews

Perfect!

I bought this and the matching changing table/dresser. I felt they both were true to the advertisement. They are exactly what ready to assemble furniture is so you'll need to make sure you stabilize the dresser with the mounting screws provided into a stud in the wall. It is cute and stylish and I'd recommend it. It is not difficult to assemble, but some sections are time consuming and you'll need an extra set of hands.

As expected

I am very happy with this product; we were able to put it together in a few hours. We knew for the price it wasn't going to be some handsome heirloom piece, but it's a lot heavier and sturdier than I thought it would be, and actually quite beautiful. You would have to seriously "mean it" to be able to turn this thing over (if you're looking for assurance of safety). Yes, the drawers are on plastic hinges and the bottoms of the drawers and back of the whole piece is cardboard, but we expected that and are okay with that for nursery/child furniture. We are ordering the rest of the set now that we've verified the quality. No reason to spend tons of money at Babies R Us with products like this out there.

Great for the price!

We bought this dresser for our Grand-daughter's room! I have to admit that I was a little skeptical because of the price but to our surprise it turned out to be a pretty good quality dresser! Very sturdy! Went together very well! So, I would highly recommend this dresser, especially for the price!

Good quality for the price.

We love this changing table, it's beautiful for the price, and seems to be very sturdy. Our complaints are these: we ordered it in white twice, and both times we opened it up and some of the boards had black stains on it, very large and very noticeable and would not wipe off. We returned the first one and reordered and had the same thing happen. If I didn't love the changingtable so much I would've returned it again and went with another but instead brought myself to keep it bc luckily the stain is on the very top and will be covered by the changing pad. That being said, it really is a beautiful changing table and we love it. Assembly took 3 hours.

Damaged but kept anyway

I was so pleased with this dresser/changing table. It will be perfect in her nursery. It was time consuming to put together so make sure you set enough time aside for it or it is easy to get frustrated. For the price point you can't beat this. I also changed out the knobs to give it a personalized look & dress it up a bit. Overall, this is a sturdy piece of furniture that we will have for years to come I hope.

Darling little dresser

This is a great looking piece of furniture for my granddaughter's nursery, but I have a few issues. There is too much cheap particle board included in this furniture. One of the backings was a piece of cardboard. I almost sent it back because of this, but it does come with a five year warranty so I hope it holds up. It is very arduous and time consuming to put together and I did have a few issues with pieces not fitting together exactly. I was able to put it together by myself and directions were fairly easy to follow.

It is the piece my daughter-in-law wanted so I'm just hoping it stands the test of time.

This item is exactly what I wanted - an inexpensive dresser that fits a small space for our infant daughter. It arrived well packaged with no damaged parts. I had it shipped to store and it arrived within the specified time. HOWEVER, I have assembled a lot of furniture, and this one was awful. The directions were fine, but it took me over 4 hours, just because of how it was designed. And what makes me rate it so low is that the assembled version ended up damaged and sub-par. The composite material of the back just crumbled/broke where the connectors were when I tried to complete one step. And adding the bottoms to the drawers was ridiculous. You have to nail the bottom on, with nails that are too large. Both my husband and I tried to get the nails just right, but the nails were too large for the width of the composite material of the drawer back, and again, it just crumbled on one edge or the other, unless you got the nail in exactly centered and straight. We are not carpenters, so the nails were sticking out inside or outside of the drawer, and multiple pieces of the drawer back broke off. It should be designed so that the back has a groove that the drawer bottom slides into, like the front and sides have. Then, the knobs were not pre-drilled at all. My husband used all his strength to try to screw in the screws, but was still not able to get many of them tight. So, several of them are too loose.
