Nice headboard, great value for the money. Didn't come with bolts/screws but that was clearly stated in description. Husband had no problem going to local hardware store and getting some and he had it put together within a half hour. Sturdy and has nice clean lines.

I built this with my boyfriend and it took about an hour after laying out all the pieces. If you are using this headboard with metal rails (not the platform bed) you will need to purchase your own nuts, bolts and washers. This product does NOT come with these piece as specified in the 6th box at the END of the instruction. Do NOT call the help center because they are absolutely NO help at all. They don't even have the correct instructions to look at. Beware, if you do they will only scream and holler at YOU because you say something different then they are programed to respond to. The bolts (x4) will need to be a 1/8" or 2/8" diameter and being 2&1/2 inches long. Recommend the washers (x4) to protect the finish of the headboard and the nuts (x2) for security. Also if you have your headboard up against a wall, I recommend some sort of padding placed on either end between the headboard and the wall to prevent constant banging of the headboard into the wall. Overall good buy for the money and look.

South Shore SoHo Full/Queen Headboard, Black

I read the bad reviews and was prepared. I had the extra bolts, washers and nuts on hand needed to attach the headboard to my bed rails. The only problem I had was the bag of hardware was missing from the box. I called the company in Quebec and the girl was very friendly. The hardware was shipped the next day and I got it five days later. The headboard was easy to put together following the pictures. I used it on a full size bed and it doesn't look bad at all. I have a thick comforter on that bed, so that may help the look of the headboard being too wide for a full. This headboard is pressed wood and would not hold up to kids banging it around every day, but I am using it in a spare bedroom and I am very pleased with my purchase. I had shopped a long time before settling on this particular headboard. Don't order this if you needed it yesterday. It takes time for it to arrive at the store (site to store) and like mine, the box could be missing something.

Good for the price

Purchased for our king size bed, looks great in our bedroom, was somewhat of a task to put together, took 2 people, you do need your own bolts to bolt it to your bedframe, so we had to run back to the store to purchase the bolts. But overall very happy.

Good product for price

Delivery was within 5 days. Overall i was pleased with the product. I realize that this isn't the most expense headboard you can buy but i was a little disappointed because the face of the headboard had a visable factory imperfection in the finish. Because of the hassle in sending it back, I decided to keep it.

My husband didn't really enjoy putting it together, and the package it is delivered in is quite heavy. But the end result is pretty great for the price. I am very happy with our purchase.

great buy for the price!

Very good value for the price, sturdy and matched my dresser. in my guest room. Instructions are a little vague and need to be more detailed and should definitely include SCREWS ARE NOT INCLUDED TO ATTACH TO BED RAILS, which was the only negative about this product.

excellent value for the price

This headboard is very nice. It comes packaged very well with no room to move for damage. It arrived right on schedule. The pieces were all correct and assembly was fairly simple. Be advised, it does warn you that it may contain extra hardware and mine did. However, it does NOT contain the bolts or nuts for attachment to a traditional king bed frame (versus the South Shore platform bed you can purchase separately). Overall a good product with a nice clean look.

Very nice headboard.

The look of the headboard is great, but it is not very sturdy. We have it attached to a king sized metal bed frame. There is no support or anything connecting the top of the headboard to the frame, so it hits against the wall every time me or my fiance' get in or out of bed or move for that matter. The assembly of the actual headboard didn't take too terribly long (about an hour or so), but the screws to connect the headboard to the frame are not included. So just beware of that.
It looks nice, but that's about it.

We bought this for our bedroom and although we love the way it looks it is a nightmare! Not only did it take all day to build but the quality is very poor. The headboard wiggles and there is no way to reinforce it since it a platform bed. The platform bed itself can't be move or it falls apart so build exactly where it will sit. The nightstands wood quality is horrible, be careful because the wood will chip or break altogether.
