This is my first child so of course I went runnning to Babies R Us and picked out a nice crib and dresser and together it would have costed me well over $1,000. I am so glad I came to my senses and took a chance and ordered from Walmart. And it was a chance because I had no idea what kind of quality any of the furniture I bought would be and without seeing it 1st, I wasn't sure what I would be getting.
Luckily I was pleasantly surprised. Both the crib and the dresser I purchased from Walmart were exactly what I ended up wanting but didn't necessarliy know I wanted. I thought I had to spend over a $1,000 to get a nice, clean, classic look but I didn't. The crib was a piece of cake for the fahter to be. The dresser, came in a lot of pieces but with about an hour he had had it together. Both items are nice solid piece of furniture. As parents we want the best and the safest items out there. But the best and the safest are not always the most expensive. I am sincerely happy with my purchase.

We purchased this for our nursery for our little one due in May. My husband and I were able to put it together in less than 2 hours. It definitely helps to have 2 people. 
I will say we looked at furniture shops and this  dresser was cheaper and sturdier than the ones we saw on the showroom floors. 
Will be purchasing another one for our oldest daughter.

Easy to assemble, great product

For the price it is nice. Love the blueberry color.  As you can guess for the price it was all particle board and MDF board but it is very sturdy and looks great. It was pretty easy to assemble (took about 1.5 hours) but it would have been nice if the assembly instructions told which bag of parts went with the draws and which went to the cabinet frame (luckily I guessed right and saved the 6 bags that were all connected together for the 6 draws). Be careful opening the boxes! I used a utility knife to open mine and cut a 10 inch scratch on one of the draw panels. I was very happy to see they included a blueberry color pen and I used it on my scratch and you can't tell it was ever damaged!

We bought this entire line for our 10-year old daughter. The dresser is very sturdy and well-made. The drawers take a long time to build but it is worth it because they are so nice. There is plenty of room for her clothes and to display items on top. We bought the matching mirror and it looks wonderful attached to the dresser. We couldn't be happier with these items.

Wonderful

We ordered this dresser to go in our daughter's 'big girl room'. It is a great size and looks nice. It did take a little while (about 2 hours) to assemble but it is very sturdy. The only negative was that there is one minor place on the top of the dresser where the paint looks to have cracked a small amount. It's hard to see, but you can feel it if you run your hand over it. They probably would have sent us a replacement piece but it isn't that big of a deal to us, so we aren't messing with it.
The color is a more of a creamish/white than a true white so just keep that in mind. We also chose to buy clear/crystal knobs to switch out with the ones that came with it- it changed the whole look of the dresser and really dressed it up!

Nice for the price

We purchased this South Shore 6 drawer dresser and a Sauder Shoal Creek 6 drawer dresser about a week apart. The Sauder was about $50 more but the difference in overall quality is well worth it!

South Shore uses plastic parts for everything, even the drawer slides! You can even see the plastic L brackets holding the drawers together every time you open any of the drawers. The feel of the drawers when you open them tells you its junk! Not built to last when kids will be using them.

For $50 more Sauder uses metal slides and they are adjustable. That alone is worth the price difference! All other parts are quality too. Easy to assemble and looks great. We liked the dresser so much we bought two matching night stands. Built almost as good as "real" furniture.

Not Worth The $$! Would NOT buy again.

Product showed up with dents on top of the dresser. Also we were missing 6 pieces to the dresser. Every time I order something from Walmart something always goes wrong. The only reason why I put up with it is because of the cheap prices. I guess you always get what you pay for!!!

Product Came to Me Damaged and Missing Pieces

Although this furniture item was expensive for particle board, I gave it a chance after reading reviews. It wasn't too hard to put together, but I wasn't expecting it to be broken in the first week! The top, right drawer caved in and split in half. The wood just splintered away! No amount of wood glue helped(which I guess isn't surprising since this is not real wood!)  It was especially disappointing since that particular drawer was just my two year old daugter's sock drawer, barely any weight!  
If I could give any advice, don't waste your hard earned money on this junk! For $100 more, you could buy a REAL solid wood dresser that will last your whole child's childhood! I will never buy a piece of "engineered" wood furniture again!

A complete waste of money!

Ordered for my daughter. Item came in about a week later with broke parts. Called the company, they were very nice. Replacement part shipped priority mail, took another week to receive. That part came in broken as well. Reviewed other parts in box and foind 2 more parts broken and damaged. Called again, this time items were overnigjted. That was on 7-1... the oarts wont be here until7 -13.
Have a dreaser with missing and broken parts that er cant assemble and if anything is messed up it takes 1 to 2 weeks to get replacement parts.

Do not buy this

Its not worth the money. Itdoesnt stay to gether the way it should and moving it is impossible once it is together pieces come apart.
