I don't know why so many of the reviews are bad, maybe I was just lucky with my piece as I was hoping I would be after reading so many negatives.  I wasn't expecting a real wood furniture for this money, but the size and color was perfect for our teenager's room. My order arrived in perfect condition, in 2 boxes. The assembly took a few hours and there were no issues. Some people in their reviews said that the drawers don't fit properly and we struggled with a few at first but then we realized that it is important to put the L drawers to the left and R to the right and they fit perfectly. It doesn't say this in the instructions but luckily it hit us:) . There is also a 5 year manufacturer's warranty if you register your product.

Took a while to put the dresser together but it was definitely worth it. Looks really nice and feels sturdy. We ran into a problem with the drawers but read a review someone posted about making sure to keep the left and right drawers in their places.

Nice piece of furniture

Although the top was damaged when received, they responded quickly with a replacement.  The pictures in the directions leave a lot to be desired...there is no way from their instructions you could tell the way drawer inserts should be located (multiple holes and can go in multiple places) had to install and test and the internal support brackets (N1) you have to figure out for yourself as again their artwork is poor, but was very satisfied with the finished product.  For the price and what it is, its hard to beat.

Would buy another!

Needs some type of wood glue

The dresser color is a nice mixture of black and dark brown, rich and modern looking. It comes in 2 boxes, and is packaged very well so it was delivered without damage.  I can't speak to the assembled product, however, because 3 different types of hardware pieces were not included in the box.  South Shore customer service only works Monday through Friday, and cites a minimum 72-hour delay if you send in their online form for replacement parts, so that is very frustrating when the pieces are otherwise all over the living room ready to go together.

Nice materials but missing hardware

I ordered 4 matching pieces from this collection. They look great when finally put together but each box arrived missing at least one major piece. We then had to wait for the company to reship those pieces. The drawer rails are plastic but that's what I expect for what I paid. Overall I am satisfied with the look and quality.

looks good for the price

I paid for shipping  abd still got the dresser  3 days late. The dresser itself is big, and doesn't take long to put it together . Not a bad purchase.

Bad shipping

Put the item together and the way the manufacturer cut the pieces makes it not align correctly. Don't waste your time!

Very cheap quality!!! Took forever to put together and once it was done being put together the drawer were falling off one by one. i tried buying furniture glue but that didn't help. would not recommend at all

Do Not Buy

Pieces were chipped when we finally got them. It took hours to put together and the drawers aren't very deep. The instructions are not very helpful either. If you get this product there are left and right drawers. The instructions didn't say anything about that. So we thought we put the whole thing together wrong. Finally we figured out there were left and right side drawers. The chest does look good when finished, but i'm not to fond of the plastic drawer slides.

Cheap for the price
