I initially identified a similar item through another vendor for more than twice the price and wasn't willing to pay the amount. I searched for additional options and happened upon the one offered through Walmart. It was exactly what I was looking for. It came very quickly and nicely packaged. All parts were included and instructions. Once the hands were mounted and the battery inserted it ran...well like a clock!!

Love this! Same clock from some ah, uhm, other high-end retailers. It's big. It's beautiful.  And it looks incredibly more expensive than what I paid. Win. Win. Win!

Big Wall Clock

I saw this exact clock on a few other websites for quite a bit more then I purchased it for. The quality is great, its actually a little heavier then I expected. As far as if it works I don't know. We have a huge wall of clocks set at important times so we haven't actually tried that part out.

Perfect for the price

The Clock came to the store ready to pick-up 5 days after I ordered it. Let me begin by saying that I learned a lot from the previous reviews. The directions for the clock are taped to the bottom inside of the flap of the box. All the mounting hardware and directions for the clock are there or it could be at the other end. The hands to the clock are made of thin metal  
because if they were made of heavy steel the clock mechanism would not be able to move the hands. The clock only uses a double A battery. Some have said that the hands stick and won't let the clock work. You need to put the small hand on the clock and gently press the hand on to the clock shaft, next put the large minute hand on the shaft. The minute hand has an oval hole through it because the shaft has  flat sides that line up with the oval hole on the shaft. Now your ready to put the small nut on the shaft and only put it on hand tight.  If the hands wont' pass or get stuck when setting the clock gently bend the minute hand slightly out to miss the hour hand.  Now put the AA battery in and mount the clock. I set the time last week and the clock has only gained a few minutes. We love the clock it shows our new stacked stone wall through it so it is perfect for us and silver clock face matches our nickel knobs on our bar cabinets. You can paint the face any color you wish before putting the clock together. I hope this review has answered the questions from other customers. Your clock should have been packaged with styrofoam blocks all around the  clock.

The clock is quite beautiful, and looks great on our wall. The metal frame outside seems quite sturdy and put together nicely. So far the clock is also keeping time just fine (hasn't gotten off after a few weeks of use). My only complaint is the center, which for reasons unknown they decided to spray-paint silver. It would be one thing if it was a nice paint job, but it's not. The paint is uneven, and the underlying black can be seen through the paint in some thinner spots. It's clear that the center used to be the color of the rest of the clock, and I have no idea what possessed them to change it. We'll likely paint it black again at some point ourselves. The hands are flimsy, too, but I'd expected that from the reviews. As long as you handle them with care they look fine.

Overall quite pleased with the purchase. Would have been 5 stars if it weren't for that center and it's shoddy paint job.

Great clock, but the silver center...

Nice size clock. Looks great against my newly painted white wall! Would have given 5 stars if the hands were more durable.

Hands are a bit flimsy

I am very happy with this clock. It is the perfect size, a nice weight and looks great on my wall. It was easy to hang and came with the necessary hanging accessories. As with other reviewers, I didn't care for the silver center so I spray painted it with flat black paint. The clock keeps perfect time, but we had to carefully and firmly press the hands in place. I think the clock is a very good value for the price!

Great clock for the price!

I love how this clock looks on our dining room wall! It stops working but I'm keeping it. Looks so nice..

Looks beautiful, doesn't work

The clock is a great size for the money, easy to hang, fairly lightweight. however like so many clocks now the hands are actually just some metal colored cardboard. that would be ok if they worked properly since you rarely touch the hands once the clock is hung. Fortunately my husband can fix most anything and was able to tighten and adjust the hands so that the clock keeps proper time. If he had not been able to do that we would have returned it which would have been a shame since it was perfect for the spot we needed. So if you get one where the hands work you will be fine but beware they are very cheaply made.

Clock hands are very cheap

The clock seems to work well and looks pretty nice - except - now that I have noticed a mistake on it, I can't stop looking at it. Whomever designed the clock does not understand Roman numerals, The repsentation for 4 should be IV and not IIII. I can't take it back now, but would like to,
