I LOVE my new fireplace/media console.

This was perfect for my needs. Pretty straight forward directions to assemble. The fireplace features i.e. log brightness, flame height and backlight are all adjustable, on a front panel as well as a very small remote. I was apprehensive about buying an electric fireplace online without seeing the actual flame, but am very pleased with the realistic look. I did not buy this for the heat capabilities, and have not used the heater, so I cannot comment on that. The base is kind of a satin black with a wood grain top. My kitchen cabinets, table, chairs and hutch have the same accents, so again this is a perfect fit for me.

Purchased this as add'l heat for the approx 800 sq ft of finished area of our basement . Love the combo TV stand/heat source! Husband & BIL assembled in less than an hour & it looks great! Doesn't look like something that had to be assembled. Does what we were looking for as far as giving us add'l heat down there to take off the chill. Everyone who sees it says how nice it is!

This product is excellent value and quality. The packing, and the instructions to assemble were accurate and easy to follow. I assembled alone & took my time and it took maybe 1.5 hours. The quality is BETTER than the pictures online. The fireplace animation is quality, and the heater quickly heated a room 14'X17' & 8' ceiling. I put a heavy (100 lbs.) 50" flat screen TV on top (they provide extra support in box). Best quality purchase in a long time.

Excellent Purchase

Nice product. Love the fireplace. My 52 inch flat screen fits perfectly. Assembly took about 2 hours. Could have been done sooner if all the parts had the assembly letters on them. One of the doors was missing the metal piece that sticks to the magnetic door lock when closed.

We live in South Florida so a real fireplace isn't necessary, this product is a heater as well as a pleasant fireplace effect. We love ours, very realistic. assembly was a no brainer, just a Philips screwdriver and no effort, had it assembled in about an hour and a half.

Just what I wanted

I love having my coffee in front of the fireplace
. It was nice during the summer. Now that it is cool it has been even better. I bought it for my birthday and I have not regretted one second of having it. Best Birthday present I ever had even if I did have to pay for it

It took over 3 hours to assemble. Good instructions with all the parts. You will need a power screw driver. Fit great in our bedroom.

We bought this unit a couple years ago when it was called the Antebellum Media Electric Fireplace.  It was easy to assemble and seemed like a great purchase until the heater/blower unit failed.  I called Southern Enterprises to get a replacement heater/blower assembly and was told it would cost $169 - this doesn't seem like such a good purchase now...  I hope you have better luck than we did...
