It is made from a semi hard plastic and comes with a detachable snap off bottom.  It has small holes to allow drainage so your plants, fruit or succulents don't ruin from too much water.  It looks great and easy to transfer it inside for the Winter months.

I compared it with another long garden box I have and I can see the difference, this one is much thicker.
