Only been using a few weeks. I have used in the past and seems to do what is should.

clean clean water

I do not recommend this product. It does not completely dissolve and leaves small grandulers floating in the water that stick to your skin when you exit the tub. As well as this my water turned green and the smell was too strong to use the jet. 
No l did not put too much in. I only used 2 tablets and they are supposed to be slow disovle. I emptied the tub to start fresh with the same results. Hopefully l can return them for a refund.
