High winds knocked over my hoop one night and bent the rim beyond repair, so I ordered a replacement.  It was very easy to install and now my 3 kids and I are back to playing together in our driveway every day.

The bracket and rim on my original setup were damaged in storms, and this part provided almost all of the pieces needed to do a complete replacement. I had to re-use the bolts from the original, as the kit included long bolts that would not fit with my goal. I also did not get a replacement plastic cover for the breakaway spring, but this is purely cosmetic.

Spalding always has quality parts. I just wish the description of this mentioned that it DOES come with the mounting plate. I ordered one separately because I didn't think it would have it included with the rim and spring.

This was a replacement to the original. A few days after putting it on the back board we had a bad storm. Cause the entire hoop to fall & the rim is broken. We didn't get any use out of it. Money wasted.
