​I am incredibly picky about my paper towels, and these hit the mark. The thickness is fantastic, and you get a great amount for your money. But the absolute deciding factor is the select-a-size squares. Instead of wasting an entire towel on a small mess, I love having the option to just pull a small square. Total game-changer!

I buy Walmart's Great Value Strong paper towels for absorbency but I love the Sparkle towels for washing windows, glass top furniture, and mirrors without streaks. I spray window cleaner on a window or mirror and then I use a generous amount of the sparkle towels to wipe the mirror first in one direction, and then in the other.  Some years ago I was wearing out my arm trying to get the streaks out of my mirrors and windows when I accidentally realized it was a paper towel problem. Now washing the windows, glass top furniture, and mirrors is a snap. I clean them in record time and never have to go over them to get out the streaks. 
I didn't rate the Sparkle towels high in absorbency, but that's not what I'm purchasing them for. Also, the quality may not be good if you're looking for an absorbent paper towel but it is good for my purposes.

These tear into the individual squares with ease, they pick up most spills and other fluidy gunk great, cleaning with them is nice because how thick they are, their overall strength is moderate but good for the cost imo, they easily last several months in my single tenant   3 animal (2 dogs   Cat) home.

They are good at cleaning mirrors and mirror like surfaces, I tend to clean the stainless steel icemaker with moderate amount of glass cleaner sprayed on a paper towel.

I recommend picking them up.

There's a tear in my square

This brand is my favorite for all types of cleaning and daily use.  They're really sturdy for cleaning and leave no fiber residue and when wet, they hold up well.  I love that you can tear each towel in half plus an additional tear to cut each piece in half to make a small square, less waste and easier on your wallet. I even use them in place of napkins for myself to use at meals. I prefer them to have the pretty patterns and in my opinion, they seem slightly thicker than the plain white towels.  Both are equally good otherwise.  The price is reasonable too.

My Favorite Paper Towel Brand!

I've done the math on paper towels, and these are the best value option. While they may not absorb as much as others, per sheet you get more absorption value than others. If you're used to the more absorbent brands, you may dislike these initially. You can really go through these without hurting your wallet much. They do not feel cheap. They tear relatively consistently, and have very decent absorbency. The rolls are consistent, and are worth trying.

Great paper towels

my go -to from the day I can remember has been bounty however one time Walmart was out so I thought I'm going to try this one and never looked back love the Tara square you always take too much and it's just a waste and it's just as good as bounty I mean the feel is a little different but I can tear half of a sheet off and wipe up half a cup of water but then again brands changed quality changes but I'm going to stick with it until it proves me wrong go get you some!

Sparkle tear a square Paper Towels

I buy this kind of paper towels purely because the price is always so much better than other brands and although they're not the best quality,  they get the job done. Sparkle brand paper towels do tear easy along the perforations but sometimes I accidentally rip them in half because they tear so easily. They're good for what I use them for though,  which is wiping up quick spills and cleaning counters and windows. So although they're not top quality paper towels I can't imagine other paper towels being so much better that I ignore the money I'd save by purchasing Sparkle brand instead.

quality is on the low end compared to other paper towels; perforation tearing is good, but not enough to keep it from tearing above or bow the perforations.

When cost is your only real concern...

These Paper towels are better in whole length wise sheets not in the pull apart squares -the absorbency of the 2 Ply is not thick enough when trying to dry your hands, dishes, pots and pans or countertops because they fall apart while you use them to dry these things with and the 3 Ply 6 Roll Paper Towels are JUST TOO EXPENSIVE to buy. The price for the 6 Roll Paper Towel is a decent price - but in order to have these rolls last you have to buy the 12 roll package and in the 12 roll package the rolls are smaller therefore you use them up faster as if you were still using the 6 roll package - there might be somewhat of a decent price for the 6 roll package but in the long run it's not really a savings to the customer.

These paper towels smell like poison. Do not buy. I couldn't figure out the smell at first and then found out it was the paper towels! Gross. I am returning these. 
Stick to Brawny or Bounty or even Kirkland paper towels
