[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The equivalent in comics of a great, fun popcorn movie that may win many Oscars (Best Cinematography, Sound, Special Effects, and Editing amog others; but will not even be nominated for Best Screenplay.
And that's perfectly fine.
A great collection at a great price, Todd McFarlane's Spider-Man work is a MUST in all comic collection bookshelves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great book if you like all things McFarlane and Spider-Man. While his contribution of creating Venom is definitely the highlight of his time on Spider-Man, this book collecting the issues he illustrated for an adjective-less spinoff from Amazing Spider-Man is just as good. I actually prefer some of the artwork here than in his Amazing run. The page count is hefty enough and has plenty of fun extras in the back.  
	Overall if you are a fan of Todd's work then it's a great book.

Must buy for a McFarlane fan.
