Love Pipsqueak.  Its easy to work with, so soft and the colours are amazing.  Have made several baby blankets over the years and even the 9 year old ones are still being enjoyed.  This yarn washes and wears to look like new years later.

Bernat Pipsqueak yarn is my most favorite yarn for baby blankets (with matching booties, mittens, and hats) -- super soft!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personal Fav

I only recently learned pipsqueak yarn has been discontinued. I have crocheted hundreds of baby blankets as gifts and the ones made with Pipsqueak yarn are by far the crowd favorite! I I was even planning to crochet Pipsqueak blankets to be saved for my great grandchildren since my grandchildren have been deeply attached to theirs. I'm so sorry others have not discovered this wonderfully soft, extremely durable yarn.

Best yarn for cuddly blankies

I make star shaped baby blankets with this yarn and they are so popular! Soft and squishy- parents call them magic blankets! I love working with it. It takes a little getting used to but it works up super fast! I really miss all the great colors they used to have. I'm disappointed the Color choice is so limited now.

So soft for baby yarn!

This is the 3rd time I use this particular yarn for a blanket. 1st time when my niece was born, then again when she was 3-4, and this time she's 12. She loves her blankie so much that it's brought with her whenever she sleeps away from home. It's easy to work with if you do a simple pattern. All DC blanket. You learn to feel your way for the stitches. Just remember to not use any heat on the drying cycle.

I have been purchasing Pipsqeauk Yarn for the last 15 years. I have made hooded blankets, costume ears, stuffed animals, hand muffs, hoods and more. I absolutely love this yarn and its texture. But the longevity and survival rate is what really really amazes me. My boys have had their stuffed Rabbit and gator for 10 years. They rough and tumbled them for 5 of those years and though little bit stretched and such still in great shape.

Pipsqueaking Cute But Not Big Enough

I bought three balls of blue yarn for a baby blanket, and one of the balls was definitely a different shade of blue--more purple. I checked the label, and they were all labeled the same color, but all you had to do was LOOK at the 3 balls together to know that there was a difference in the color. Very disappointed.
