Simple application process with minimal effort.

Color appears bright and highly pigmented.

This exceeded expectations! No hint of red, the anti-brass technology claim was so worth testing here. Took super brassy bleach damaged badly but not quite blonde still hair and turned it BRIGHT vivid dynamic purple in one application. Covers grays, stays shiny, the metallic silver tone is mild but gorgeous.

I'm not sure of the longevity but so far I've washed 4 times and with the exception of the baby hairs around my face that are almost impossible to saturate with color,it hasn't faded. 

immediately after use my hair felt very waxy so my recommendation is to double cleanse after rinsing, cleanse,condition,cleanse,condition until the hair feels smooth while running your fingers through it. 

sulfate free shampoo and cool water is a life saver. 

The product bleeds, Ive never used a semi permanent purple that doesn't so thats not a deal breaker. the product stains but again most will, do your  first rinse in your kitchen sick and you should be fine to do the rest in the shower 

The color is hands down the most vibrant purple on brown hair Ive ever used,my coworkers couldnt believe i didnt lighten my hair beforehand. 

People say SPLAT is bad and that is simply not true the only difference this has from other semi permanent colors is its more color than conditioner, others are loaded with conditioner so for me i have to leave them on for 4-5 hours to get the results this will give me in 1 hour, just deep condition when youre finished and your  hair will look and feel the same it would with any other semi but with less effort.

I've been using another brand of semi-permanent color but could never get the right shade of purple, plus it faded much faster. I'll only be using Splat from now on.

I would like to more if I can get it little cheaper because I am in recovery and I love dying my hair more .....lol thank you walmart you have been helpful to me so many way...🥰😇💯

I colored my granddaughters hair ya know it's the trend among preteens. Anyway yes its a beautiful color. BUT!!! Make sure you cover the neck really good and any skin. It also stained my bathtub and we had a horrible time getting off her neck. It doesn't last as long as I thought.

All in all the color is good but it's a mess to use.  Stains pretty bad even if you prepare for it.  You still make a mess and get it everywhere lol.  My shower is still stained yo! So, I definitely recommend doing this in a stainless steel sink or something.  This isn't a hair dye like people might think.  It's staining the hair strands and that's it.  So, every time you shower you see it washing off even using sulfate free.  I guess that makes sense since it's not a permanent kind of thing.  Not something I'll use again because I prefer permanent vs this stuff.  Not to mention the mess.  Interesting experience tho.  My skin was purple for like 2 weeks.  😂

Really made my brown hair a vibrant purple without having to bleach.  

STAINS EXTREMELY BAD!!!  Their cheap glove ripped while coloring and I didn't realize it and the purple stained my hand horrifically!!!  I tried every suggest possible to clean it up with no avail.  Hours of constant scrubbing and the only thing that eventually lightened it was astringent.  Hours to get it light enough to not be too obvious. 

Covered the grey at initial covering, but after first wash, washed off of the grey hair.

it doesn't really work on brown or dark hair you really have to bleach your hair for this item to work. but on the box it says that it works for brunettes.

The color of this is so pretty, however, if you're a brunette you will absolutely still need to bleach for a vibrant result. my daughters hair is nearly black.

Not great for med-dark hair.

It stains the shower.  I did it 3 days ago and it washes out every wash and comes off on your hands when you touch your hair.  It's almost all rinsed out already.  I had dirty blonde hair, so now my hair is black, purple and brown after 3 days of washing.
