I used this dye recently and was very pleased with the overall results. I have shoulder-length hair that is very thick and was a dark red before I used Splat, so I used 2 kits to have enough bleach (had to bleach 2 times) and enough of the purple dye. I only needed to use one bottle of the blue however. The purple seemed to just soak into my hair so I had to use almost 2 whole bottles of it. I have a little purple left over for touch ups, and I had a whole bottle of the blue left - enough to do my son's hair and still have about half a bottle left. It looks very good and I'm happy with the results - much more affordable than going to the salon!

This one I didn't use both color I just use the blue which quickly fades to a
          green. Since I just did the for my daughters hair, I didn't need as much coloring and will
          use the purple for next month during Easter.

Enough hair dye to split the two different treatments.

The purple color doesn't last more than 2 days, it rather looks like lilac and the lower color looks like green. The bleaching powder is good.

My hair turned green. I have colored my hair every color possible with success. When I used splat, the purple did not show and the blue was green. I was better off going to Sally's!

I have used splat for years and never had a problem with it. This is the first time the colors didnt dye  my hair.  I'm a natural  medium  strawberry blonde and decide not to bleach my hair, which I've done before using splat and it did awesome, but this time the color was very patchy. 
I did follow the instructions 
I even tried dyeing it again the next day using the leaft over color, helped some but still patchy

its so bad they didn't give me what I wanted they gave me just real and it was so small and I asked for purple and teal they just gave me real and I was waiting so long for this

I like to dye my hair pretty colors and to be honest have had very bad experiences in the past with splat until they came out with their midnight, no bleach needed, kits. So, since those had been working well with my hair I decided to give their Ombre Dream a chance because it looked pretty. There were problems from the very beginning: there was only enough bleach to coat one chunk of my hair, so I had to borrow a friend's hair bleach from Sally's, then, because we were cautious about there not being enough product we only did the top third of my hair with the purple which turned out a silvery lavender, instead of the deep purple advertised on the box, after rinsing and drying. Next, we had enough blue to really coat the rest of my hair and I left it in for over an hour just to be on the safe side, but after shampooing rinsing and drying, over half of the blue dye had completely rinsed out of my hair and the color was a greenish teal instead of the color advertised AND the little bit of purple almost completely washed out of my hair after this second wash and rinse. I now have to go to work with disgusting streaked light purple, bleach blonde, greenish teal hair. The entire experience was a disaster. So much so that I will not be using splat products ever again.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

This did not work at all like its suppose to.  First the beach would not mix properly no matter how much we tried, then it wouldn't go on my daughters hair evenly, it went on it clumps, the liquid soaked in to fast and left dry clumps of bleach on her hair.  Very disappointed! will never buy this again
