Embrace mind-blowing moments as you’re pulled deep into the many worlds of Split Fiction, a boundary-pushing co-op action adventure from the studio behind 2021 Game of the Year Winner It Takes Two. Mio and Zoe are contrasting writers – one writes sci-fi and the other writes fantasy – who become trapped in their own stories after being hooked up to a machine designed to steal their creative ideas. They’ll have to rely on each other to break free with their memories in-tact, working together to master a variety of abilities and overcome diverse challenges while jumping between sci-fi and fantasy worlds in this unexpected tale of friendship. Split Fiction is a unique action-adventure experience that keeps you on the edge of your couch with unexpected moments. One minute you’re taming adorable dragons and the next you’re fighting as cyber ninjas, escaping terrifying trolls, or dodging hover cars thrown by a robotic parking attendant. It’s weird, it’s wild, and it’s designed to be shared. Grab a friend and get ready to overcome any obstacle thrown your way. Perfect for parent-child gameplay together. This game can only be played by 2 people together. I have an 11yo daughter and I am always looking for ways to do things together. I also game in my spare time. I googled two player co-op games and this was a suggestion. I watched a review and decided to order. My daughter absolutely loves this game. She also enjoys doing a fun activity with me. We have to work together and strategize to advance gameplay. We bicker back and forth in fun on some challenges, but the over all fun aspect is never lost. I highly recommend for any parent that games, especially if you have a daughter, since both characters are female. The creativity put into this game is amazing.

Best Co-Op 2 Player Game I've Ever Seen

walmart.com

What an awesome team making these back to back amazing couch co-op games. Its great to play a game that is unapologetically aware that its a video game. Absolutely FUN.

Absolutely awesome couch co-op!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great game and walmart had a competetive price online. The biggest issue is that the store wouldn't price match the online price. Online, the game was listed for $30 and in-store it was still $50. This was the only reason I came to walmart so when I get an advertised price online that the store wouldn't honor, I feel really annoyed

This game is hilarious, a lot of fun to play co op on same console or online multiplayer and highly recommend.

This is a great game for two people. The graphics are great. The adventures are great. There's lots of twist and turns and a new adventure around every corner.

Fantastic game, absolutely brilliant coop experience to play with a friend. The graphics are awesome and it runs very well with no frame rate drops in my experience

This game is incredible, better than It Takes Two, the studios other game that won game of the year. My girlfriend and I loved the constant changing gameplay that kept it fresh to the end and we can't wait to go back and play it as the opposite characters for a different experience. Highly recommend

Perfect Co Op Game

Split Fiction is a really fun game that shines best when you play it with someone else. One of the coolest things about it is that you can play as two players on one gaming system, which makes it perfect for couch co-op and sharing the experience together. The open world gives you a lot to explore, and the story keeps things interesting as you move through different areas and challenges. The two-player game makes me feel nostalgic, reminding me of classic games where you'd sit next to a friend and play for hours. That said, it's not good for young children cause of cursing open world story and two-player game makes me feel nostalgia, so it's better suited for older players. Overall, Split Fiction is exciting, memorable, and a great game to enjoy with a friend.

Fun date night game

We have been having such a great time playing this game. My husband and I purchased for ourselves, we played and our kids watched us a few times and now that we've beat the game, our 8y and 10y have started playing. It can be a little tricky at times, but neat to see their teamwork and communication while playing this game!

This game has been a blast to play with my girlfriend. Game looks beautiful and runs great. Story takes you on some wild rides. We played it takes two and loved it. This game is even better. If you're looking for the next game to play as a couple or with a friend, I'd pick this one up. Was on sale when I got it so an even better deal.

Great, fun to play, very engaging.

kinda sucks you cant play solo but im sure its a cool game

need two players...
