Best little machine ever! It saved our mattress, bed sheets, duvet and duvet cover from an unfortunate incident. We would recommend it to all homeowners and short-term rental operators.

This is the second of the same cleaner I've purchased.  I like the portability of it. I primarily use it for my couches and it dods a great job

Great portable cleaner

This thing is absolutely amazing, albeit very humbling. I have a light coloured couch, and it had a few stains that were not super noticeable, but I wanted them gone. The colour of the water after doing one cushion was absoluely shocking. It looked like cola. Just be careful not to oversaturate the cushion as it will re-wet old (deep) spills and then you end up bringing those to the surface and the cushion looks worse rhan it originally did. I did that, and then once it dried it had brown water stains al over. So i just did a quick, more superficial clean again the next day (once thr cushion was dry) to get those surface marks out and the couch looks amazing.

Good product

This machine is smaller in size than the previous version I had. Was it designed this way to save on production costs?... I like that the hose is made of a more durable material.

It does the work

Stream fromhose dies not reach the brush making it be a 2 step process of soak then go back to vacuum. Used recommended cleaner which did not remove the exterior of the recent stain. Will be purchasing another machine.

''I'd really like to get a deep steam cleaner for my couches, chairs & rugs!"   

   That's a common thought many (like me) have at one point in time, immediately followed by the dilemma of "Should we rent one, or buy one?"  ...But then you soon realize the questions don't stop there... 

"Do I need an upright or do I need a portable one?"...   

And then... "What's the difference between a spot cleaner, a steam cleaner, and deep cleaner?"

   Naturally you'd think ''I'll just read online reviews, information, and recommendations to help me decide what I'm looking for." 

  Unfortunately the more you TRY to learn about the differences between options out there, the more likely you are to be confused because of the intentional 'wordplay' that major companies like Bissell use.  Don't fall for it!  At the end of the day I've discovered many of these machines are just a 'squirt-bottle' attached to a vacuum,   Moreover, Bissell loves to add ''Do not use any non-Bissell cleaning products for this vacuum squirt-bottle" (insert marketing product name for one of their many different cleaners).

   Getting over the disappointment of what exactly the product turned out to be, I'll start with the positives because it's not all bad:  This particular unit did a decent job of surface cleaning everything we tried it on providing we used a large amount of Bissell cleaning solution, scrubbed like crazy, then had to wait several hours for the surface of our couches, carpet, and chairs to dry.  The unit was also light, easy to move, and pretty straight-forward in assembling & handling.

   And that's about where the positives end, because after the initial disappointment of realizing this is nothing more than a vacuum + squirt-bottle, we would've hoped there was MORE vacuum and not just a weak level of suction.  To put it in perspective, of the 2 full tanks we used, the machine only sucked up about 1/3 of a tank back (essentially we just dumped a bunch of chemical cleaner on our items with a minimal amount of it coming back in the form of dirty water).  I wish we could say it was for lack of effort, but we scrubbed, sweated, and did everything possible to try and get this thing to work the way we it was advertised (and the way we hoped).

   Long story short, if you're like me and you're looking to answer the question ''How do I deep clean my couch, chairs & carpets?"  This (and other small cleaners like this) are not the answer.  If however you want something that will dump a bunch of chemical water on a surface, having a small amount of it sucked back up in the form of dirty water, and do a decent job of removing surface level dirt or stains...then this probably is a good option (but I personally think you're better off using a squirt bottle with a non-chemical based solution, and your own trusted vacuum with a scrub brush attachment).

I hope this helps at least a few people avoid the same journey we took...
