Simple and extremely well made. I've used numerous products from Nite Ize for years.  All of their products are extremely functional and work as designed.  Their products are a everyday use and fill a void that no one else can fill.

I love these lights. Been using them for years. I live in the country, (it's dark here) and it is so easy to see them at night! Also, people coming down the road can see them if they are sneaking close to it! I can stop them from going in the woods in the darkness. The dogs love being able to see in front of them while out at night. The seller did a good job of minimizing  the packaging waste!  (Kudos!)  HIGHLY RECOMMEND for those with dogs who like to go by the road! (Especially in the country!)

Perfect when you need a little light

We used your SpotLit&reg; Collar Light for many years. Last 2 times we needed new ones I ordered from your website and it was great.  More colors to pick for the blinkers and they seem to last longer. Prices very good.  You ship what we order right away & they're here on the day you say they'll be here. Your products keep our 2 dogs safe when they're outside at night.  We appreciate your business & your employees.

I like these. They're clever little gizmos that shed a nice bright light. I clip one to my dog's harness and light it up when we're out at night, so I can keep track of her when she's off-leash and cyclists and motorists can see her when we're walking. The downside is that they don't last forever--they're just a little too fragile for all the jostling they get from being attached to a lively dog. So the current purchases are #3 and #4. #1 just went dead after a few months (yes, I put new batteries in it but it still won't light) and #2 will still light up after about a year of use, but it switches itself off after a few seconds. Still, they're inexpensive enough that it was worth getting new ones. I haven't found anything better for putting a light on my dog!

Bright and easy to use

This is my third purchase of these lights. They are great when they are new and they work, a nice bright light that's small enough to go on my dog's collar for nighttime walking. But it's very rare that it's worth putting new batteries in; they rarely outlast one set of replacement batteries. They're ingenious and relatively inexpensive, and *sometimes* I can change the batteries and get more life out of them, and I haven't found an alternative that works as well. And to be fair, it's a rough life on a dog's collar.

Good, but they don't last

is good. i won't be using it long tho. Hate the color of the light (blue-white -- really? for a dog at night? I'd prefer a more candle colored light so as to not mess up my own night vision.) and that it's not rechargeable. And cute as it is, it eats batteries fast. So I'll be building my own. :(

Bright light, simple to use, inexpensive. The last is probably it's only problem; it may work for a year, or only a week. You get what you pay for. I buy 3 at a time.

I like the light a lot, it's bright and it's easy to spot our black dog in the yard at night.  However,
we are on our 4th one of these, since they break after about 6 weeks of use.  The solder joints that hold the front and back together break.

Like them but break after about six weeks of use.

The way the collar light is designed pressing it on and off stressed the connector of + side of battery to the circuit board to the point of the solder breaking loose and it causing it to fail.  The problem could be eliminated by having the battery contacts come up through the PCB instead of wrapping over the top.

Great product but failed solder joint killed it.

Have had ours less than three weeks. Great idea and we keep it attached to the leash. Here's the problem: you have to turn it off and on. And no matter how long the LED lasts, if the on/off switch wears out quickly you won't have a working light for long. Sadly, this has been our experience. A-plus for the engineer with the design idea. D-minus for the procurement guy who supplied the switches. Do not buy.
