I purchased SPRI vinyl dumbbells (8,10,12,15 lbs.) for a friend about eight months ago. She enjoys working out with them three times a week. She's trying to gain weight unsuccessfully but I have noticed her improved muscle tone. While she weighs only110 lb. to my suprise she is going to need the 20.lb dumbbells soon for her sqauts for a continued challenge. 11/08/2016. She is 48 yrs. and I'm 50 yrs. young.

SPRI vinyl dummbbells

gaiam.com

I discovered these deluxe vinyl dumb bells at Marriot Surf Club Aruba and then ordered 10lb +15lb upon my return home. They arrived within few days and the shipping cost was reasonable for the weight. These just feel exactly right and a 100% improvement over knurled steel dumb bells. Diameter and length of stem is perfect for perfect grip. They do have a few little vinyl ridges and bumps but that is to be expected and I can position them so I don't feel them. Nice colors. I will be ordering more.

Fit my hands perfectly

After your prompting, I've finally taken time to unpack the shipment. The dumbbells are attractive and I hope they will help me strengthen my arms. (I'm 84 years old.)

Looking Good!

Bought these since the gyms are closed - as I have no workout equipment at home. They do the job just fine - but the vinyl can be a little slick so I need to wear gloves with them.

Great for what I bought them for

Apparently an odd item one cannot find during pandemic is 5lb weights. They're sold out everywhere. And if you did find, prices were ridiculously high. Spri sells quality products and prices reasonable plus in stock. The 5lb weights are comfortable.

I would buy product again

I needed 1lb weight for Cardio Kickboxing and these weights are great for it. Only negative is my palms are sweaty I can feel it on the plastic weights. Other than that I would buy them again.

Love these weights

I use these while rebounding for added resistance. The "bounce" in rebounding creates a lot of momentum, which is hard to control and maintain proper alignment. So in order to control movement and not just flail the arms overhead, or away from the body, I use super light weight against the natural momentum.

Great for rebounding

Comfortable to the hands, commercial durable, and the pop of green is fun!

Great Quality VInyl weights

I've been doing Silver Sneakers on Zoom. These are the 2 lb. weights I used when I was going to my exercise classes before Covid-19. They are great.

I would buy these again.

They are spot on for weights - my only struggle is the handles are quite wide for the 18 lbs so it is harder for smaller hands to hold the weights.

I wish they had more weights available!

I Have been loving these weights I bought 16 sets of 3, 5, and 8 but some of them are already Peeling off and looking so bad.. this is not acceptable!! I am disspointed

VInyl is peeling after 4 months!! Really? argh
