[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to try pastel pencils, and bought these based on lots of positive reviews elsewhere. I wanted colored pencils with a stronger pigment; These are more like fine "colored charcoal" (pastels), which is interesting to use. You'll need a blender, patience, and a lifted hand. I guess the primary issue with pastel pencils is maintaining both color and durability. These pencils do both well!
