Ink Flow

For Beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought one for myself and my sister, we are trying to learn Calligraphy by writing each other. The nice weight 3- hinged tin that all 33 pieces have a cradled space to occupy is so tidy and the entire tin can be placed on a bookshelf like a book. You get 4 nice pens, 5 different nibs, 20 ink cartridges which load up in one of your 4 pens to begin writing. Practice book already ruled for slant and a tutorial with upper case and lower case of 2 different scripts, Italic and Roman. All in one, everything to learn and create your own. Fabulous product, the size of a book with a lot of Calligraphy inside.

Excellent Calligraphy Set

walmart.com

The kit is very nice, simple, and with nice ink colors for a beginner, very nice pens.

Great kit for a beginner

Exactly what I expected is exactly what I got. Enjoy doing calligraphy and just writing with fountain pens in general. Well worth the price

positive

It was just what I expected! Came a week early! It was a birthday gift for my soon to be 13-year-old daughter. She loves it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would buy again

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a gift for my daughter in law, and she loved it. The set is really nice and she loved that it had the practice pad and the tin for storage. I already planned ordering myself one, and my husband saw hers and said he would like one also.

Very nice calligraphy set!!

The set is really awesome and it's really easy to use and put together. My only issue with it is that I have to dip the tip of the pen into some water sometimes to get the ink flowing like every maybe five or 10 minutes which isn't much of a hassle because if you got a different type of plan and you had to dip it in your in manually instead of having the ink inside the bin you would have to dip it in water like every few seconds so to me it's a good deal .

Calligraphy set

Very easy to use. Like the number of different colored ink

Good for beginners

The set is nice, but came with two leaking cartridges.

Nice little set for beginners

My girls were very disappointed as these are poor quality and didn't work well at all. It was a Christmas let down.

Christmas Let Down

These are really disappointing. The caps don't stay on the body and the ink dries quickly in the nib. My decades-old Sheaffer pen and nibs do far better now that I've found ink cartridges that fit! Unfortunately, I can't return this; it's missing pieces.

I expected much better from Staedlter.
