Very easy to use right out of the box as everything is pre sharpened. There is an included sharpener as well. Get drawing!

The pencils are easy to grip and leave an amazing soft or dark dusting depending on the look you are going for. I like that it has everything you need in one package. The eraser works perfect and doesn't leave a residue like others I've used. These charcoal pencils give sharp precise marks and are perfect for any artist new or seasoned.

It's easy to use, kid friendly and perfect for sketching/shading artwork. The packaging was really convenient, didn't take too long to unravel, and looked great. It's not a messy kit so clean up is super easy and you can use this kit for a variety of drawings etc.  I'm really loving this sketch and my child is having fun using it!

The pencils were easy to use and sharpen. It comes with different graphite levels for your different needs. The eraser works well, and the blending stick is a must have.

I love that the sharpener is high quality metal and will last a long time.  The polymer eraser is also really nice.  Note that a sketchpad or paper is not included, if you're gifting to a young artist who wants to begin right away.

Solid charcoal set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This charcoal sketching set from Staedtler is really nice. It is perfect for just doodling or if you or your child like to sketch/draw. It is a nice set with multiple sketch pencils in black and Grey, a white blinder things, a sharpener and an eraser. Everything you need to get started. The pencils are light weight and easy to use even for my youngest. Its a nice set and a good value for a  sketching set. Would recommend.
