[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sell antique postcards and other vintage paper ephemera, and often these articles are written on with pencil regarding information at the time of original use, or pricing by a subsequent reseller.  Because the paper is frequently very fragile and has "absorbed" some of the graphite marking, it is very difficult to remove it for my own resale.
I pride myself on the pristine, high quality of the postcards and memorabilia I sell, so finding the Staedtler Mars Plastic Eraser after a bit of research recently was fantastic!  Pencil markings and writing are easily removed with little effort, and without damaging the paper - the product far surpasses the other professional erasers I have tried.
Highly recommended!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand was requested on school supplies list.  It was the most expensive eraser I saw and doesn't seem to work any better than other decent eraser that doesn't tear up the paper.  Next time I'll buy the walmart brand.
