I like the Salton Variable Temperature Kettle as it heats quickly but does not feel bulky, and the temperature presets work well for green tea, coffee etc.

I also like the keep‑warm feature and it runs quieter than most kettles I've owned.

Brilliant kettle

I like that I can see and set the temperature. This is a well made kettle.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It is a quick boiling kettle but lacks an indicator that is has boiled and turned off. The one downside is that the lid opening is too small to fit your hand inside to clean it. The temperature settings are a very nice addition and it uses substantially less electricity to boil than a stovetop.

Good basic kettle

It's impossible to achieve and hold a 'rolling boil' to make a decent cup of TEA!  I've read the product inserts etc. but there's no simple, straightforward way to a good cappa when I'm half asleep..

No rolling boil!  Useless for tea.

Do not buy unless you have ample patience... this is the slowest kettle I have ever owned. I could walk to the store and buy a coffee quicker than this kettle boils. Embarrassingly slow. On a separate note, the notion that this company insists on spamming us just in order to leave a review is shameful.
