[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pastry beater attachment is excellent.  I was always too intimated to make pastries that involved cutting very cold butter into tiny cubes. This attachment makes it much easier to handle more advanced pastries. I also used it for my mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving. I haven't used it for shredding meat yet, but I'm excited to try it.

So far, I have used it for making pie crusts and not only does it do the job, but it makes the process so easy! I definitely recommend.

I was skeptical of this but the reviews made me take a chance.  I love this beater.  I am gluten-free and make my own biscuits.  This beater does the trick.  I can get the ingredients quickly incorporated into the dry ingredients quickly and efficiently.  This has become my go-to beater.  Thank you so much!!!

A great beater!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife does most of the baking and I do the tasting. This pastry beater attachment has definitely upped the standards. My wife was so excited with the holidays coming and all the baking she does to try this out. And I have toy say her pie crusts are flakey and so delicious. She said thats this takes out so much work of having to hand cut the butter into the flour. Also she said thats with how much faster it is she can make twice as many treats as she could before. It fit our mixer perfectly and is a nice weight. It cleans up very easily and has a good non stick coating. My wifes happy and im happy to keep eating.

I grew up the son of a baker who made cake, pies, etc. I did not have the patience to make  a crust the way he did. However the crust just fell together with this attachment. He would have loved this attachment.

This tool definitely fits the bill. It does a great job cutting butter in to flour as well as beating and mixes pastry and pie dough.

Great for any baker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of this product. Cutting butter for pastry is def one of the more tedious kitchen jobs for me and i constantly worry about butter temp. I prefer to use it for softer jobs/not actually mixing dough. Ive had to have a motor replaced on a mixer and it wasnt cheap so id just rather switch attachments as soon as the butter is incorporated. It can also beused to mash fruits or shred cooked chicken but these can also be achieved with the standard paddle attachment too. Not sure id reccomend buying it unless you make a lot of pie/biscuits/scones or youre looking for a gift for friends that bake.
