Can be silky smooth, but may feel rough on certain surfaces.

Provides adjustable positions, but can be uncomfortable.

I had an old Pilates machine for 20 plus years & decided to invest in a newer model & am so glad I did. I love this machine, the length is very nice & love the springs they use for resistance   Also, the bungee board is bigger than my old one & is very comfortable to use. I have been using it every other day since I got it & just look forward to my workouts. It's a very well made machine!!!

I love my machine, it's so smooth. I also love the head and neck pillow. There are only two things I would change: 1) somewhere to put the straps when you aren't using them so that they are easier to grab, and 2) plastic protection for the ropes so that when you row, you don't shred the ropes. Other than this, it's awesome!!

Love my ProXP557!

I previously owned the AeroPilates reformer with the bungee cords. It was a very functional reformer and served my in-home clients well. I also own a professional Balanced Body Allegro I reformer. My first AeroPilates was a good second reformer to have for duet clients. Now that my in home business has grown, I wanted to purchase a comparable reformer to my Balanced Body reformer without spending a fortune. The AeroPilates ProXP557 was a good investment.  With the springs, adjustable foot bar and professional design, I highly recommend this reformer and my clients love it as much as the Balanced Body reformer and so do I.

A step above the base AeroPilates reformer.

This is my second Stamina Pilates reformer. The first one was shorter, and was on the floor. It also did not offer the Cardio-Rebounder. THIS machine is a world apart, the height makes it possible to mount and dismount more easily, and greatly expands the exercises available. I love the Cardio-Rebounder! As a person that HATES exercise, I use my reformer because it is FUN! Using the rebounder gives you the same floating/flying feeling as riding a swing, but it is a real workout.

Don't skimp on your Reformer!

Excellent addition to Reformer devotees who can not go to or afford classes, especially since COVID. Recommend the box and ring which I purchased on HSN. Allow time and patience for assembly.

Return to reformer at home

I have been doing reformer classes at my studio for over 2 years and wanted a reformer for home as classes are expensive so the machine would be a smart investment. This machine although still not cheap fit my budget and it comparable to the studio reformer I used. It is simple but sturdy and I can do all moves on it that I did in the studio. I purchased the box and pole separately to compliment the workouts. This reformer sits high from the floor which adds so much more variety of exercises that you almost can get away without the box really. Assembling took some time, especially lining up the rails, but I did it and have been using it every day! I plan to purchase a red spring for more resistance from another brand as Stamina doesn't carry it. Overall, I recommend this reformer.

Excellent machine for home

This is a good home machine- much better than the corded versions. I have back issues that demand everyday attention through Pilates, and since I can't get to a class everyday, I purchased this so I can do in between home workouts. It's not as good as a studio machine, which is reflected in the price difference. I would suggest adding more springs for varied weight, and the footbar needs more padding. I used 3m hooks to hook the pulley straps to the carriage or else they just dangle. I wish the footbar came all the way down too.  Would love to see some more accessories for this such as a tower. Overall good machine for the price.

Good home machine

I have enjoyed my AeroPilates reformer since putting it together about three weeks ago. There are some items that I wish it had like a foot strap for anchoring my feet while doing abs workouts and I wish it had the pegs behind the shoulder rests for holding the feet/hand straps. It is a good piece of equipment for the money.

AeroPilates reformer

I received this reformer a few weeks ago and I've used it many times since then. Overall I am quite happy. I feel like I can do all of the same things I would do in class and it feels very similar. There were a couple of minor problems with two pieces as I was assembling it, but customer service was responsive and sent me what I needed quickly. I deducted a star for a few reasons: The foot bar is very hard and narrow. It's not a problem on my feet but it hurts my hands to plank or do other exercises. I actually went to the hardware store and got a piece of black foam pipe insulation and fit it around for whenever I use my hands. It was a cheap fix and works pretty well. The headrest also never stays up when it's in its highest position. My ropes are also not the same as they are in the picture on the website. They do not adjust under the platform. There is a plastic piece on the rope that you use to adjust it. It works fine, but it's aesthetically not very pleasing and it clanks around on the rail sometimes and even rubs my arms in the hundreds position. I also wish they would make one heavier spring to swap out. I can use all four springs now for some of the legwork and I am worried that I will soon need more. The springboard works just fine even though it is different than what I was used to. It is too narrow, though. You can only really jump with your feet together. Overall, though, I feel like I get a good work out on this and I am happy with my purchase. It cost about the same as a year at the studio, so I will save money over time. Please restock the box and pole soon! I wanted to buy it right away but it is not available anywhere.

Very close!

We have had this reformer for a month. I bought it through Amazon. Had no trouble assembling it with the tools provided. The reformer looks good and performs well for the most part. It is not equal to the reformers at my Pilates studio but I wasn't expecting that for the price. The hand straps are small. Otherwise I am pleased
