Assembly

I bought this CPU holder to mount my desktop PC to the underside of my standing desk. My computer case is slightly larger than most, so I was a bit nervous that it would fit into the holder, but the dimensions on the listings were correct, and my PC fits snuggly. The CPU holder is well-built and very sturdy. It is made of higher-gauge steel than I would have expected, so I am pleasantly surprised.

I bought this add-on for my uninterruptable power supply unit which is about the size of a small computer chassis. It works fine and now my entire desk and its components are self-contained.

Works for my UPS

It works. I've only had it for a few days, so I can't speak to how sturdy it is, but it's easy to use and put together. You almost definitely need a power drill to screw it in though, as the desk's facade is dense and trying to do get the screws to bite while screwing upwards with a hand screwdriver was impossible. I suppose I could have turned the desk upside down, but man is it is heavy.

it does the thing

The piece is well made but there are only 4 small screws to hold it in place so initially I was skeptical. But once assembled, installed and filled with my gear it I realized I was wrong. It fits perfect and is a not going anywhere. Thanks SUDS!

Well made and strong

I bought this to get the system off the floor. It is very sturdy and easy to install. I have a small form factor pc, and this is almost too big so it could handle a fairly large PC.

Sturdy cpu holder

My CPU holder was easy to install, it is sturdy and perfect for my needs. The cost was much less than other similar products making this a great value for me.

The actual holder is solid, and works as expected. However, please know that you need to screw the unit directly onto the bottom of the desk surface - it does not attach via bolts to any of the other hardware on the desk.

For my particular stand up desk, I have to mount it parallel to the long side of the desk, given the depth of my tower, and the support that runs down the center of the desk. Also, the plate that screws onto the desk has a portion of metal that protrudes down, and may reduce the space available depending on the height of your tower.

I ended up attaching the plate to the bottom of the desk, placing the tower into the lower bracket, then sliding the bracket/tower into the receiving portion attached to the desk, and tightening the screws. The added benefit is my tower now hides all of my cable management behind my desk. 

Customer service regarding returning the extra one of these that I ordered was top notch. Friendly, prompt, effective, even after it being totally my fault. Outstanding support!

Works, but disclaimers...

I bought 2 of these hoping to mount both of my towers. One is a midsize and one is a full. The midsize mounted great but the full size tower was too big and I ended up scratching my case trying to get it to fit. I ended up mounting it to my old desk that I have to my wife though and it works great for her pc

Holds the CPU well, I do wish it came with bigger/longer wood screws, and perhaps 2-4 more for added security, 4 short screws don't seem adequate for holding a CPU to the underside of a table.

You'll have to drill right into your desk for this one. Good luck getting it straight. Buy a proper one from somewhere else.

Turns out my case won't fit into this thing but only by about a quarter of an inch.
