Like most of us, I have lots of tapes but this one has become my favorite because I am consistently more accurate with this one.  They have just made it easy.

easy to be accurate

It fits great in the hand, has a phenomenal standout (mine will get to 14'), and has never torn or locked up. The lock mechanism never fails or faulters as well. Overall the best tape measure I've ever owned...and I've owned many of them.

Tape that works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Goes a long way unsupported, either straight out or straight up. Extend and it stays  out until you push lever on bottom. I use it constantly and it's very reliable. If you only have one, make it this one.

Best tape I ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape can have a stand out to 12 to 13 foot, makes my life easier. Also it has a magnetic foot, I didn't know that when I bought it, it come in handy when doing metal work. The flat bottom is awesome I just drop the board on the chop saw, drop the tape on the board. Line the up the measurement up slide the tape out and cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my preferred framing tape currently. Super rugged and strong. When we're doing finish and detail stuff I switch to a different tape because the wing st the end of this tape is so big it's hard to get small accurate marks. But for framing, or on a roof, it's great.

It's a beast

The tape measure worked great for what it was designed to do, loved the bigger sized hook. 

Tape started to tear at the 9Ft mark without heavy use, unfortunately the tear got worse and the tape eventually came off completely. Tape also had a hard time rolling back into body.

Average Product

This tape was hands down my favorite. DeWalt is now extremely limited on what the warranty will cover. I work in all weather conditions because the job has to be completed, no mater what. This tape fails when you use it in the rain or with wet material. A rusty and cracked tape is not covered and DeWalt won't replace it.

Not the quality expected from Dewalt

They do not send you the tape that's advertised. This tape has a much smaller hook and is much heavier. Look at the photos and compare with mine. I will be returning.
