[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this on our wooden fence gate, and it fit and works perfectly.  Has just the amount of spring back without slamming the gate shut. Nice and quiet so the neighbors next door doesn't hear it when their windows are open.

Better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only recently installed an upcycled gate to finally close off the open space at the top of my entrance steps. And found myself constantly tweeking  the closer because it would never catch. This gate spring solved that problem. Instantly.

Great Spring Action

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We added this spring to our backyard gate that the grand kids constantly left open allowing the dog to sneak out. Spring installation is straightforward and easy, allows for tension adjustment which we played with a little to get just right.  It works very well and I like the lower tension for a slower smoother close. The black finish goes well with hinges and latch we've just replaced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product about a week ago because my gate is getting older and since I have two dogs that go in my backyard security is of the utmost importance. It was easy to install and blended into my current fence color well. The spring on it is still new so make sure that you are ready for the force that your gate closes at first. Other than that it is a great product.

Works great

Not enough force to close a wood outdoor gate, broke first day. Followed instructions to a T. Might work in a small indoor gate, not built for an outdoor wood gate.
