These latches are stainless steel and are heavy duty and sturdy. I am convinced these will last a very long time.

We have mini horses and one of our pastures didn't have the latches.  It was easy for us to install and it works perfectly.  Love these latches.  I went out and got a few more.  It is fingertip easy from either way.  And I LOVE that it is stainless steel.

The latch holds very well and is very strong. It is child proof, I have a three year old granddaughter that can open the gate latch we had but she hasn't figured this one out yet.

These are immensely better than the ones previously on the gates. It's well made and high quality. They were easy to install and to use. I don't have to worry about the gate not catching and my animals get out any more. Highly recommend switching all the gates with this one.

Easy to open and easy to latch closed. Installation is simple. All you need is a screw gun. The stainless steel looks sharp on the door. I liked it so much I got another to put on the gate in front  to match it. Overall, very happy with its purpose.

It is a simplistic yet effective design and we are very happy with it. We have had no issues with keeping it securely latched which was our problem with the last one we had.

It's made of excellent quality and very heavy duty. My husband was able to install the automatic gate latch easily. As a relatively new DIYer, I was a little nervous about installing this gate latch by myself.  I like that it's so durable, stainless steel and not meant to rust.  I feel at peace now, letting my dog in the backyard and not having to worry about him getting out of the yard.
