We display outdoor Christmas lights each year and needed a reliable extension cord to connect our strands. I feel safe using this extension cord,  even when the ground is wet.

This extension is great for outdoors to plug in  block heater in vehicle during cold temperatures. Definitely recommend to any one who is looking for a good durable extension cord.

This is a $5 cord and does exactly what it's supposed to. People that are complaining about how it doesn't hold up to below -20C in Winnipeg... It's great if you're not in one of the coldest places humans live on the planet. Maybe invest in a slightly more expensive cord next time?

Great for the price

Bought it because was on sale with no expectations, using it for outdoor lights on terrace and no issues so far.

Does what's it's supposed to do

Just the size I need. Stays flexible in extreme cold and delivers the power needed for my truck block heater.

Polar max 8' outdoor extension cord

so online the photo looks like a teal or bright turquoise color. it is not. its a plain dark blue. but otherwise its fine

Hard

The sheath of both the cord and the individual wires broke after just a few days in cold weather (below -20C). I bought two cords, and both have failed only after a few days being outdoor. Not recommended.

Terrible quality - not suitable for outdoor!
