This timer is a newer version of the old one I've had for 5 years.  That old timer is still kicking and impressed me enough to buy 4 more of the newer kind. These newer ones are almost a duplicate except that instead of a sliding switch for always on or timed, it now has a programming feature to do the same thing, making it possible to fit one on top of the other in a regular house receptacle with two sockets. The operation of this timer is so simple, that you litterally can reach for it while it is plugged in and change the timing on it with your eyes closed if you had to. I love these timers best out of my other ones by far. I experiment with plant light timing and lots of other things.
I can only say that I hope these particular ones will still be here in the future. 
There is no need to improve on them, and I hope that for once we can count on grabbing another few when they're needed up the road. And thank you Walmart for carrying them, I am a happy camper.

I bought this last year and love it! It's so simple to use. Should have bought two!

So Easy To Use!

Simple, but effective, especially in Ontario where the Hydro goes out every other day! Just realize it only times once per day and every day.

Simple, but effective timer,

I bought some and only one had black lettering.  The others are all white.  How is anyone supposed to read what button is what?  Obviously, someone did not catch this mistake on the assembly line...hmmmm wonder where it was made?!  When you finally figure out the buttons under extreme lighting and wearing some strong reading glasses, it works fine as far as controlling on and off of my lamps or Christmas lights.

Stanley needs to inspect their assembly lines!

Bought this to turn 1 Christmas ornament on and off. Set it up on the 15th of November and it failed a week before Christmas. Keeps perfect time but won't turn anything on.
