For an active kid who loves swords this looks like it will hold up well. Not only does it just look cool, it seems strong and with the added lights etc I wish I had one when I was a kid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for little Star wars fans. My kids wanted this for Christmas after seeing in the store. I like that there are villain options for evil vs good battles. The sounds are realistic and the lights work well.

The quality of the product is great, and a perfect gift for the boys in the family. Would purchase again, and honestly, my husband is jealous and mad that I didn't get him one lol!

The Star Wars Lightsaber Forge Kyber Core Kelnacca is an awesome collectible for any Star Wars fan! The customizable design lets you create your own unique lightsaber, and the green Kyber Core gives it a vibrant, authentic glow. The hilt is sturdy and feels great in hand, and the electronic effects are impressive, with cool sound effects and light features when you swing it around. It's really fun to build and personalize your own weapon, and it's perfect for display or light dueling. If you're into Star Wars, this lightsaber is a must-have! Highly recommend!

It was close to the advertisement. The light does not fill the hollow shaft as I hoped it would but still bright enough for the children and appears to be sturdy.

These seem to be well made (Christmas gift...so haven't been used yet). Instructions for putting batteries in weren't very clear. I always put them in before gifting. They don't light up all the way or as bright as i thought they would.   I am sure he will like them anyway.

1) I had to add a battery, as opposed to another light saber I had bought that came ready to use (but not collapsible)
2) I had to get a screw driver to add the battery

For 24.99 , this is not a good deal. But for 7 dollar ?  It can be a good prop for Halloween. 
The light is so dim … even in the dark.  Beside from the underwhelming light effect …. The built quality is oky. 
I paid 7 bucks for it… but I think it only worth 5 bucks for me.

The light effect is lame.  But Oky for 7 bucks.

I don't know if mine is defective or not. I don't get this 1000's of combinations? Also the core does not light up. The little light in the base doesn't make the core glow like a lightsaber should. It also doesn't retract all the way. I paid $25 for this piece of junk! My grandson gets more play time from the cheap $6 ones.
