Lots of fun to play with! Takes some practice to be able to get the rhythm you need to control it properly. The propellers will stop if anything interferes with the helicopter, even when they are in full spin, they are pretty harmless. I wish the charge lasted longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this for a a child of a friend. I haven't seen it in action as it's a Christmas present, although it looks like something a 6yr old boy will have fun playing with. I received it just as expected and on time, and for a very reasonable price.

I was actually not expecting too much from this for the price, but instead, they were a bit hit with the kids, worked great, had enough of a charge for the kids to play with as soon as they were opened, and fun for adults too! I was beyond impressed!

Pleasantly Surprised

It's really well made and a blast! I had seen it in store elsewhere and did a fast search and found it here a whole lot cheaper, I grabbed it so fast. My son turns 6 soon and has been wanting a hand motion sensor device , the lights make it that much cooler and the extra blades are great to have! I was worried it would be cheaply made but it's really made pretty decently. My boys are having so much fun. Lots of laughs and screeches. It does take a minute to get down and it's faster than expected. Haha. All I do wish is that I had grabbed two.
Note the USB charger comes with it and no batteries! Ummm yesss.

Well made and fun

It was only five bucks so I bought a couple as gifts. It worked okay, not as great as some other little helicopters I've had before like this. The motor is pretty strong but it just veers off side to side.

Cool toy.  Got it off the clearance section.  It was fun for my kid to play with until he had to turn it off.  

It's hard to catch because of how it works and he was afraid it was going to cut his finger off.

It didn't (and probably wouldn't) but he was concerned.

Best $5 to Make You Holla

This toy can be fun!  It's kind of technical for kids younger than 7 to 10 years old.  If you're not very careful with it, it will hit you in the face.  Sometimes it dives directly to the floor.  The adults in the family had more fun with it than the kids.  I recommend this toy for kids over 7.  I feel they are more responsible for the safety and care of it.  We had fun with it!

This item spins out of control and can/has hit people in the face, clearly by accident, but it's wild! It hit with so much force that it broke on first impact!

Not for children

either the sensor was bad or the motor was not calibrated correctly.  it would not hover over the hand or floor like it said it was supposed to.  it took off at full speed and ran into the first thing in its path.  very dangerouswhile in a room of family trying to visit for thr holidays.

I'm not sure how this item received so many stars. I bought it for my nephew for Christmas and he loved it until it stopped flying after about four hours. After it is charged up, it flies extremely fast which resulted in it crashing into walls or the floor %26 after about four hours of this, it will no longer fly. The blades still spin, but it no longer hover/fly.
