I bought the single port 20Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 PCIE x4 card.
I have a Dell Dimension 8700 I7 based PC. It also has a nVidia 2070 Super PCIExpress with a number of USB A ports on the motherboard. The USB 3.2 card is connected to a 2TB external SanDisk drive. 

The card is not detected at first boot. It is only detected when I disable something in the USB device tree then reboot the computer again.

I don't know why this happens but without disabling another USB controller, the USB 3.2 card "ASMedia" will not show up and won't work. This sounds like a conflict but I can enable everything after it is discovered.
I have read in some forums that this needs a new firmware. Is this the issue?
