There is no real sipping on the tread pattern for this model "SOLARUS AS" and the few lines that are there to start only extend about 20% down in the tread block.   Therefore as the tire wears in one may find less traction since what little sipping the tire starts with soon will disappear.    Really no excuse for this since most modern tires come with sipes that extend all the way down into the tread blocks now.   There appear to be better value tires to pick from and I'm not even sure this tire is better than the prior Starfire SF340 that it is suppose to replace.
