I bought this mainly to make homemade potato chips,and it makes perfect,thin slices every time..Its easy to use,and I like that you can adjust the thickness with this.Best of all,the price was great.This will be well used in my kitchen.

I have used different slicers before but this ones design is VERY DANGEROUS!  The way to hold the guard and the exposure to the blade makes this very unsafe IMO.  It works yes but due to the level of poor design I won't even donate it.  I unfortunately passed my return date for it so I am going to just discard.  I would not recommend this.

NOT SAFE!

I bought this for my house to try out. The design is poor because the adjustment dial is on the handle, so it is easy to accidentally touch the dial and change the thickness. I also find that the material it is made out of is not very strong since you get different thicknesses by how hard you press down. I was very frustrated the whole time I used this and I will be returning it.

Inconsistent

I bought this mandolin a week ago and hesitated to be two models. I chose the one because it was cheap and compact. I tried it first with carrots and today with apples. The protection guide of my device does not hold in place and result, good cut every time. It is also difficult to keep the same thickness of the soul and my slices are not equal.
