I am very happy to have this butter pan however I would have liked to put my butter in the lid but was not really made for it, however we are used to it and like it very much. The information on the article is accurate, it is made for half a pound of butter.

I liked the one that I already had so much that I got a second one so I have one to use while the other one is waiting to be washed. I always like to have soft margaine ready for my sandwiches, and with this second butter container, I can have it out and ready as soon as the margarine in the other one is finished.

Handiness of having second Butter Container.

Best butter dish ever. Keeps it fresh because it seals air tight. Base has markings to cut for measuring., and it comes off for easy cleaning.

Could be a little taller to accommodate the measuring plate that is included but works if you squish the butter down or leave out the plate.

Super convenient

I am so glad to have found a decent butter container. I turned it upside down (to the picture) and it works very well for me. Wish there was another color but oh well........

does the job really well

I like this too but I need to squezz the whole butter to fit it. We need a little bit taller to fit a regular size of butter. The lock is great & presentable yo put on the table.

Was much bigger than I thought for a butter dish. Looks more like a storage food container so I think I'll keep it for that.

I should have looked at the dimensions of the container and read the comments. It can hardly hold a pound of butter. Unfortunately, the tray on which the measurements are indicated must be removed. Too bad...

Too small for a pound of butter (454 g)

The container should accept a pound of new butter. It's a little too small for a new pound of butter, so what do we do with the part that's too much? This is the only negative but it is irritable with each new pound of butter. For the rest, the container is super well made and fits very well with the concept of "locks" reversed (it's well thought out).
