Value For Money

I was looking for a cheap salad spinner that I could get ASAP. This thing is pretty awesome. Built in strainer in the lid so I can just pour out excess water if I'm using it on the counter. I wasn't expecting much for the price with the removable base but it's honestly pretty sturdy. I'm impressed especially being that it wasn't one of those expensive ones.
The handle is a wee bit clunky but it's easy to get used to. I did 15 heads of romaine lettuce in this thing in one morning and highly recommend it.

Great little thing

I got this salad spinner for Christmas after my last two broke. This is the sturdiest one I have owned so far and I love that the basket can also double as a colander. I also love the snap off base that keeps the water off my counters.

Best salad spinner ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Online it seemed small but this is the cheapest and available. Finally it has a perfect and useful size and works super well compare to other brand try it by passing

Acceptable size and very functional

starfrit.com

Great quality & strong material throughout. Well thought of design. Deep bowl. Can drain water into a removable silicone base or directly into the sink while spinning. Can drain bowl from the top without opening the lid. Stable rubber feet. THE BEST FEATURE IS THE EFFORTLESS SPINNING even with full bowl. Easy to clean. Reasonably priced. It is the best I have had so far and I tried many.

THE BEST

[Employee of walmartcanada] love it use it everyday

faboulas

Does a great job of getting the water off the lettuce and easily fits in the fridge. Keeps the washed and spun lettuce crisp.

Starfrit salad spinner

Hot on the heels of our mandolin purchase is our new salad spinner. The same quality and ease of use that we are now accustomed to with Starfrit products are obvious in the salad spinner. It's not only very stable and easy to use but it cleans up with no effort other than running it under water, just like the mandolin. It's really hard to believe that a manufacturer can offer such products at very competitive prices. I can tell by using it that it will probably outlast ME !!!! Thanks again.

Another winner

I bought this item and am very satisfied. Thank you

Works very well

The lettuce does not come out as dry as I would like. The one I had before this one was perfect. It had holes on the bottom of the outer bowl so the water would all go in the sink and the salad ended up much more dry. I had it for many years, but had to look for a new one. I'm looking for one like it. Not sure yet. I might return this one.

Lettuce not as dry as I would like

Bought this a couple of years ago and when I decided to use it tonight after having it sit on the counter for over 8 months, the string just snapped and made the spinner useless.

Was good for short while
