I really like this silicone trivet. It's small enough to fit in the drawer at the bottom of my stove and I can use it to put a hot dish on and not worry about burning my counter top. It has a cotton pocket that I can slip my hand in, so no chance of it slipping off. It's sturdy and easy to wash in my sink with soap and water.

What a great kitchen gadget…making chocolate chip cookies was never so easy and fun. We used the trivet to take the cookie pans out of the oven and also placed them under the cookie sheets while the cookies cooled down. Very comfortable to use and really never felt the heat..I forgot to mention that the trivet was easy to clean with soap and water when covered with cookie batter.

Hot Hot item

This is a great item. It pairs an insulated mitt with a silicone backing. The only draw back is that it is square. Square makes for a really nice trivet to protect my table, but it is just a little harder for me to use because I have pretty small hands (I am 5'1" tall). For those will bigger hands (like my husband) it doesn't seem to be an issue.

Handles all the Hot Stuff

For someone that loves to be in the kitchen, with a big family, I've been through a lot of pot holders. They have all burnt or allowed the heat to get to my hands. Most pot holders that are made of silicone are stiff and are hard to handle. This one in particular allowed me to bend my hand with ease when taking out my lasagna from the oven. No heat was transferred to my hand when grabbing my dish. The fact that the side you grab your dish/pot from is silicone allows for easy cleaning. The best part about this is that it doubles as a trivet. My lasagna went from the oven to the table sitting on the same thing I used to take it out of the oven. A must have in your kitchen, especially for someone that doesn't like to have so many gadgets; this is a 2 in 1!

Great Pot Holder

I used the silicone pot holder in 2 way. First to protect my diner table from the heat of a casserole that was directly coming out of the oven. I put the casserole on the silicone side of the holder. The casserole stayed put with no chance of moving because of the silicone grip. The tickness of the pot holder is good as there was no heat going through on my table. Second use was to remove the dish from my oven.

i do not like these potholders. The pocket to put your hand in is too shallow and too wide so that my hand slips out of it too easily which is dangerous and could cause me to burn myself. I will have to make a pleat in the pocket so it fits my hand better. And I do not have especially small hands. I bought these to replace Cuisinart potholders which were much better in terms of fitting my hand, but I don't seem to be able to find them anymore.
