We normally do not buy entry level appliances, but considering it was a Starfit %26 Walmarts exellent return policies we decided to try.
We are extremely happy with the price %26 most importantly the indoor grilling "taste" ...................

Great Price for exellent indoor grilling "Taste"

For the budget price, this indoor grill is well worth it.  It gets very hot fairly quickly - I only turned the temperature dial to about middle of the range, and it still gets quit hot and cooks meat thoroughly.  I did use my own pot lid to cover thicker pieces of meat though, such as 1 inch thick steak.  You can also use a large rectangular cookie sheet, just beware that it will get very hot.  

However it is not really smokeless if you grill fatty meats like pork belly and steak.  It is still much better than an actual barbecue which steams smoke like a chimney.  But my kitchen did get a little foggy since our kitchen ventilation fan was broken.  Just make sure your kitchen is well ventilated and close the doors to your bedrooms. =)

Gets hot quickly & grills meat well, some smoke.

I have had a BBQ all my life. I am in an apartment now and this is as close to one as you can get. I use it on my stove and use the fan. Smoke, no problem. It is a little more work to clean because you can't submerge it in water but no big deal.

We were at friends' house yesterday for a raclette and fondue. I decided to try my grill and we all liked it very much. It cooks quickly and in addition, I cleaned the dried food left on the grill with a paper towel while it was heating. It is also very easy to clean. I would definitely recommend buying this device.

Received in a timely manner.  It was packaged well, so no damage to the grill.  I was surprised that it was so sturdy.  It was very reasonably priced.   It heated  up quickly and cooked the steaks evenly.   After it cooled down I took it apart with no problem and washed it, dried it, packed it back in the box for the next time I want to use it.  I would recommend this grill  to anyone interested in buying it for themselves or for a gift.  Very nice.

Good item to have in the kitchen. Ive been using it under the stove vent becauae i find the smokeless feature does not work super well. It works, jist not enough. I dont wany my house smelling of meat so i cook under the vent. It helps. Overall, for the price, i recommend.

I don't get smoke when I use the grill but we are only 2 people and so only grill 2 burgers at a time.  The one problem with the grill for me is that the stand is plastic and if you accidentally shift the cooking surface slightly, it makes contact with the plastic and melts it.  Still able to use the grill because it is standing on 4 little metal feet, so it's still stable even though it has melted here and there on the sides of the stand.

Cooked blade steak and within 5 minutes the kitchen was full of smoke.  Far from smokeless!  The concept is good and cooks well, great sear marks, cooks meat well, great price but NOT smokeless.  Had to open 2 windows and door to get rid of smoke.  No different that pan frying as far as smoke goes. May be good on balcony not in an enclosed kitchen.
