So far the solar projector it's working great. I have gotten a lot of compliments from neighbors. It was easy to assemble and set up on the lawn. To me, the best features are the solar panel and the remote controlled accessibility. I wish it offered a couple of holograms and not just the lights, that's the only downside.

Originally, when I first received the Solar laser projector, I set it up outside to be charged by the sun. For reasons beyond me, the unit did not charge sufficiently. It worked, briefly, for 2 days, then nothing. 

I decided the set up a "return" for the unit.  Only after that did I decide to plug in the unit to charge in the house for a few hours.  To my surprise, the unit produced the most beautiful light shower for several hours.  I don't think it was that bright outside...partially, because of the lack of solar power it contained, but it also might have been too far from the house (about 30 - 40 feet).  It worked great inside for a smaller space. I haven't taken it back outside yet, but I was so impressed that I was trying to decide whether or not to keep it. Also, it operates with a remote control, sooo I don't even know if that was the problem for it not coming on after the first couple of days. It can be adjusted to display red, green, or both.  I KEPT IT!  
It would be helpful if the company sells one with a little more power to show up brighter on the desired surface.

The laser lights are bright  and look good.  The problem is the unit doesn't hold a charge.  The unit will turn on the next day for about two hours and shut down.  The following day there's no lights at all. 
The unit is well built and solid. It's a shame it doesn't hold a charge even when out in the sun.

Good except for solar charge capability.

I can't even review this item correctly, due to the fact that I can't even use it . It screws together, but you need a very small tool %26 I can't seem to find any tool to fit / work to get it to stay together.

Pointless purchase

Started by charging with electric.  Worked great first two day.  Then didn't start at dark by itself.  Took inside and recharged with electric and worked on it until it started.  Put back outside the next day and it mostly started working again.  All of this takes into account sun conditions.

Good sometimes

It isn't like they make it out to be! I was disappointed! It only covers a small area, doesn't last as long as they say on a charge, and in full sunlight it didn't charge on its own, I have to plug it in for hours to get it to stay on a decent amount of time. The concept is cool, but not worth even the $20 off I bought it for. Just an overall big disappointment!

Give Me Lights!!

I feel scammed, but you get what you pay for. There are most certainly not five different modes. There are two variations of one design, one with just red dots everywhere, and an off/on switch. So, I guess that's five 😄 Still cheaper and safer than me climbing that ladder

It worked for about a week and then would not stay on despite a full day of sun. We tried to charge it by plugging it in to electricity. No difference. It still won't stay on. So at this point, it's going to the garbage. It was pretty when it worked but we won't ever buy another Bell%26Howell light.

Worthless, don't take a chance.

It came on once and worked for about an hour and quit.  It never worked again.  I tried charging it with the USB cable but it still wouldn't work.  The projection image is really cool though.  If I would have been able to make it work I would have been satisified with the result.

I'm shipping it back because the part(screw) to hold the stake and projector together is too small and it doesn't hold the 2 pieces together. 
WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY. You should be ashamed of yourselves for sending your customers defective products while charging so much for it.
I will NEVER purchase another starlight projector from your company again.
