[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gripping tool supplied works but doesn't grip jewelry very well. The steam pressure cleans deep and fast, immediately removing soap and scum. But the high-pressure steam requires a tool that grips the jewelry firmly and allows you to manipulate it to get every crevice. It's a little difficult with the tool supplied but the machine itself works fantastic. It produces beautiful sparkling jewels within seconds.

SUPER PRODUCT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SF-1000 JULE Steam Jewelry Cleaner did a great job cleaning an old necklace charm. It is simple to set up and simple to use. I am a bit surprised that there is no other way to empty the water besides the small hole where you fill it. The instructions say to fill with 12 oz of water buy the fill cup is only 6oz so you have to fill the cup up twice. Other than that, it works great. It has a light to let you know that it's on and another to tell you when it's ready. It has a helpful light near the spout too so that you can see clearly while you clean. It has long tweezers and a cleaning cloth included as well. Overall, a great product.

Powerful little steam jewelry cleaner

Great steamer just bulky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Steamfast Jule jewelery steamer is a great device for some items. It's pretty easy to use and set up and the force of steam is very strong. It's easy to activate the steam with a little effort just pushing the button. I noticed noticed bits of dirt blown out of my jewelry right onto the machine. I didn't even know my jewelry was that dirty. So I know it doesn't excellent job of cleaning. I like the little cup that catches the extra water makes it easy to clean up. I didn't care for the fact that I have to empty all the water out by dumping it out the top hole. The tweezers are conveniently stored in a notch in the back of the machine, so it's great that everything is together. I just found that the tweezers didn't work that great. With the force of the steam it's kind of hard to hold your jewelry still with the long tweezers. I ended up using a pair of hemostats to hold my rings and earrings. That way it didn't blow right out of the tweezers. I also really wanted to clean my necklaces, but I have not found an easy way to do it. I wish I had some kind of maybe metal basket that I could put under the steam, otherwise there's no real way to hold a necklace still while you steam clean it. I really like that the machine lights up right in the area of where you're cleaning the jewelry, it makes it so much easier to see. In the bottle that comes with it to fill the machine holds a perfect amount of water and makes it pouring water in the hole very easy. I was grateful for the book that came with it that told me what stones or metals could or could not be steam cleaned. Unfortunately there's quite a bit that can't be, so I wasn't able to use this on all my jewelry. But overall it's a great machine and does do a good job of cleaning. And I'm sure I'll find a way to get my necklace cleaned, I just need to find the right device to hold it. I will continue to use it on the jewelry that I can because I've never had my jewelry come so clean.

Great for some items

Looks and sounds the same but not nearly as hot when done like when you get it back at a jeweler. It was clean but not much more than toothbrush clean and you have to store it.
