SOS pads are an essential. They have great lathering. The steel wool is very durable. So convenient  Once I'm finished scrubbing pots and pans I can still use the pad to scrub my sink, then sanitize with spray. We use them for cleaning the cars tire rims, tools, kitchen pans, etc  Off brands don't have the same sudsing and durability.

I use it on my steel cookware and my stove top. It never fails to get the job done. I only wet as much of the pad as I think I need and I set it on a dry sponge to prevent rust.

They always work for me.

As a child, my Grandma showed me how "great" SOS PADS work on so many different household chores. I've used SOS PADS throughout my life and always have a couple of boxes in my undersink storage.

Have used SOS pads for years.  Theyxre great for acubbing baked on food from glass baking dishes, stainless steel pots %26 pans.  Scrub then rinse %26 your done.
For durability, I gave 4 stars due to their rusting if not put qhere they can dry out completely.
BTW...I use them to clean my iron skillets then dry by putting on hot stove burne.  I then season skilletw/ some olive oil %26 letit coll down before putting away.

SOS pads use dumb practically on my adult life. Only brand I'll use. Unfortunately I cannot find the 4 pack. I don't use them that often, but I nothe less.  Amount of pads in the box, the more you Hey, so I had to get an 18 count box.
Thank God they don't expire.I'll probably have them for the next five years

This product has been around all my life. It's not probably as popular as it once was but it does a great job at cleaning a charred pan. Also it cleans more thoroughly than the plastic scrubbers.

Classic cleaning for well over 50 years, how can you mess with that?

Classic Scrubber

We go through these like crazy in my household.  These things are genius!  No degreaser on the market works like the detergent in these little gems, and the hard yet flexible steel wool fibers scrub like there's no tomorrow.  There is just no end to what these bad boys can do.  And they contain so much detergent/degreaser, I always get at least three or four uses out of each one.  Tip: be careful not to saturate them with water or they will rust and not be reusable. Wet them just enough to activate the soap.  There are so many uses for these little pads, not just pots and pans, basically any sticky situation in need of elbow grease, they can come to your rescue, cuts right through the grime on the sides of my bathtub and bathroom sink, grimy linoleum floors- cleans better than a scrub brush.  Price is amazing for 18 pads!

Still the Best

I have been using SOS pads for over 60 years, my mom purchased them to help keep our copper bottom stainless steel pots and pans clean and I still use them on some of those pots that are over 50 years old!
A little less soapy but still very effective for me and I introduced them to my 8 year old granddaughter recently she saw what a good job they do and told her mom to buy them.

Product that has stood up to the test of time.

I love these SOS pads. When we moved in to our house it had a used
glass top stove that was not taken care of.
It had horrible marks on it where food had been burnt on to it. I worked
for weeks trying to get them off.
Last resort with nothing to use, I started to use a sos pad on it
using it in circular motions a bit at a time for a few days,
Finally all the marks and burnt on marks are gone. And there were a lot of
them. This was cheaper then buying a new stove because I could not stand the looks
of this one.

Love this product

What can I say about S.O.S. pads? They've been around forever and the combination of the steel wool and soap works just fine for cleaning grime on pots and pans, and i use it to clean and polish my steel sink. Helpful for many other urposes. Don't use it on delicate pans (like those with T-Fal or other surfaces that shouldn't be scratched).

Old Standby

These are NOT the SOS pads of old that I grew up using. These are spun with steel thinner than a human hair, and will NOT last past one use before falling apart to nothing in your hand. Garbage.

Don't waste your money
