I needed a strong step ladder that was easy to store and safe.  This ladder is well constructed.  The height is great (for a step stool).  It looks and functions like a mini ladder.

This is a sturdy, well-built ladder that is extremely useful for a few feet of extra reach. This is my second one. The first one is still in service after more than 5 years. The second one will be used in a different area.

A great little ladder

Good little step ladder. Light weight but strong.

Will do the job.

I have been using these little step ladders for something like 30 years now.  It is amazing how much use I get out of them.  As typical of all Werner products, these little ladders soldier on for years despite the amount of abuse they experience at the hands of a professional construction crew.

That step ladder are perfect way to go into troll space  under my house! That nearly exactly the hight that is needed about 
too feet 4 inches under the floorboard of the house!

This is the second ladder of this type that I have purchased. Both having the same problem. Very sharp spreaders attached to the legs. The brackets that control the spread of the legs have razor sharp edges. These edges are right where your fingers touch while opening and closing the legs. Apparently, the dies cutting these parts are dull, leaving very sharp edges where your fingers lock and release the legs. Simple abrasive tumbling these parts will round over the sheared edges. After cutting my fingers a couple times, I have rounded the edges with an abrasive wheel on a die grinder. It's an easy fix, but shouldn't be required before using a new ladder.

Poor manufacturing process

Why does this 2' ladder no longer close flat? Why the larger top step that no longer allows it to fold flat?
As a contractor, my van had a specific spot for my 2' ladder. Now that I need another one, they no longer fold flat thus does not fit in the original slot.

Bought 2 of theses ladders not long ago and was using 1 this weekend and it bowed out side ways and I fell and broke my shoulder..looked at the second ladder and the same thing is going in with that one.
