we bought this for my daughters 3rd birthday and i researched these for quite awhile looking for comparable ones... this is the hard plastic that i was looking for and the price of this compared to the price of the ones that are the flimsy plastic is amazing i would def recommed this to anyone with a little girl who likes to play dress up!

My Grand-daughters age 5 and 6 are into dress up, hair, nails and makeup.  I assembled it prior to wrapping, not suggested if your looking for a really neat wrap.....On Christmas Day we couldn't get them away from it.   It was easy to put together and the brand is one that I trust to last.  Very sturdy because it's molded plastic versus the others I saw that were not.  I'm sure this will outlast the girls.  They love the light. It was a big hit with the girls.  If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to have a "stop" on the drawer.  I had it stocked with make-up and the first time they opened it, everything ended up on the floor. But I explained it to them and no recurring problems yet.

The grand-daughters Love it!!

There are many vanities out there, and the prices are generall the same, approx. $50-$70. This vanity is the best one on the market for the money. The others are the same price give or take and made very cheaply and are not durable. My daughter has owned this one for 2 years now, and it is like new!! I just purchased another recently for my niece. When I heard she wanted a vanity, I knew this had to be the one!!

Great Vanity

I got this for my granddaughters, 4 yrs & 18 mths, for Christmas and what a hit it was for both. The only improvement I would recommend is that the drawer not come all the way out. Highly recommend for 18mths up.

And they are quite good, good value for the price

I bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter. She loves it. It has places to hold some of her makeup. A bigger drawer would have been more useful. The light wasn't as bright as I had hoped. The stool is the right size and is soft on the top. She had me sit on the stool and I was comfortable. It gives her a place to put her make up in one place, a big area to work at, the feeling of a real vanity with the big mirror. One of her favorite presents.

great product for 6 yr. old, great value for price

My 3yr old loves doing everyones hair and make up and thought this would be the perfect thing for "santa" to bring her. She loves it!! Very easy to put together and very sturdy!

Adorable!

Looks just like the pictures. The mirror is okay, not perfect but works for play. Also, the light is dim and more for appearance as it does not give off much light. Overall, my 5 year old daughter likes it.

Cute little vanity

This was the perfect Christmas gift for my daughter and it was easy to assemble. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the make up slots on each side should be made bigger because they don't fit standard size nail polish bottles and I wish the drawer in the middle could stay in some how and not pull all the way out. But my daughter plays with it every day and is happy to have a place for her nail polishes and lip glosses and a mirror to use to help apply them.

My 5 1/2 year old loves it

I knew that my 5 year-old wanted a vanity for her birthday and I was torn because for a little over $100 I could have bought one that was a simple, less frills, wooden vanity, but when I put it to a vote, this was the one she chose. Looking back on it now I should have purchased the better one and let her decorate it because this one puts the che in cheap. With a stick on distorted mirror (have fun getting it on straight and yes I took the protective plastic off). A battery operated light that makes a candle look like a mag light. And a bunch of cheesy stickers of lipstick and nail polish. This will be hard to pawn off on my friends with babies down the road.

Now it's my bad for not recognizing how fast she'll grow out of this (it may have started already) and not seeing the value of getting something more like furniture and less like a toy, but that doesn't excuse the fact that this thing should be half the price.

They make reusable window stickers that would make a real table look colorful and you'd have something to last. Plus your child won't look like their face is melting in the mirror (the picture in the ad couldn't be more deceptive).

Too late to return. Once she saw the box we were stuck with it, but not too late to warn.
