My daycare kids ages 1yr. to 7yrs. love this items. My own daughter age 2 loves it aswell. It has been a great addition to the daycare. We purchased the tree last year and this year we purchased this snowman and the gingerbread house. The moment they arrived which was in September my children asked to pay with them. They started singing Frosty the snowman and the older children were teaching the younger children shapes, colors, and names of the parts.

The only thing I would change about this product is possible have more options for accessories (different shaped buttons, more arm options).

The Big Snowman

step2.com

This snowman is great for my 1 1/2 year old grandson. He loves taking it apart and putting the hat on. I like that there aren't too many pieces and they all store inside the snowman.

Cute and simple!

This toy is a perfect toy for my granddaughter. It teaches creativity and helps with fine motor skills. Most important....it is just fun to play with!

SNOWMAN

I havent given the snowman to my granddaughter, but I did open the package and check everything out. This is a super cute toy and I fully expect her to have fun playing with the interchangable parts.

As an aside, I appreciate that you can order replacement parts for this and other Step2 toys in the event that a piece is lost or damaged.

My First Snowman positive review

Having seen this product at a local daycare center, I purchased 2 for use in our early intervention program for children born deaf.
So many early concepts are wrapped up in the Snowman, it was easy to create learning targets. However, the one feature I would change is the design of the face, making each independent of the other.

Lots of educational value.

Granddaughter absolutely loves the snowman. The pieces are just a little to hard for her to put on and take off, well they are for me to but we still have fun when she comes over and plays with it. Really nice size

Love it. You wanna build a snowman? It's perfect

I Do Love It Just One Thing Gets Me A Little upset. Maybe when packing it you can find a way to keep shape of pieces. My eyes are very bent, tried everything and its still not right. But otherwise its a Great addition to my Grand Daughters Christmas Toys, that she will play with for my Christmas seasons to come

Cool Item

I really love the idea of this snowman, but for little ones it's pretty difficult to put the pieces into the holes. I struggled on a couple of the holes being too tight. My grandkids are both 2 and love this, but struggle to push the pieces into the holes. I wish this was made differently for them. Maybe over time the rubber gaskets will become a bit looser and it will get easier. We also had to take out the batteries in the hat because it went off so often that it became a tad annoying. I do love that the pieces all store in the snowman and he's so cute. I would buy it again, but I wish the pieces were easier for little ones to push into the holes.

Hard for little ones to push pieces in

I bought this for my preschool day care kids. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I ordered it but wish I had read the description better. It did not hold their attention the way I had hoped. There are only a couple different variations of what can be done. It might be better for kids under two. It's cute but to me it wasn't worth the time or money.

Underwhelmed

I do love this, it's cute but a couple of notes: The hat is fragile for a toddler toy. Put it out for the first time today and my kiddo, who isn't a particularly rough toddler, broke the hat rim after dropping it. Very disappointing since I've come to expect higher quality of toys from Step2.
The second note is, there aren't many accessories to mix and match. I'd gladly buy an extension pack of different accessories, just to have a bit more variety of combos! Maybe a few more accessory insert spots would've been awesome too.
Otherwise it's not a bad winter themed toy! Bonus points for being able to store the pieces in the snowman body! I love that feature!

Cute but….

I was so excited for this since my son loves the Step2 Christmas Tree and the Jack-O-Lantern, however the hat came broken. We've tried different batteries but nothing seems to work so I'm not sure if we'll be returning or will have to buy a replacement hat.

Mostly okay, but the hat came defective
