[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these planters. They are so pretty. It has a shelf with holes in it to allow for drainage. This is particularly helpful if you plan to bring these indoors at any point as it won't leak and make a mess. I purchased a stonecrop "coca cola" plant from the garden section at Walmart. I plan to bring these indoors for winter so these planters really are perfect. Love them!

Beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These planters are heavier than I expected—almost fifteen pounds each. The quality is decent being made of a durable material that hopefully will stand up against the elements. I chose the white ones. I'm not sure why they call them multi color on the website because the specks on them are only black as far as I can tell. The exterior is smooth unlike the black set which appears to have more texture to them according to the photos. They are almost a foot across each way at the top and stand twenty-two inches tall. The drainage tray sits about halfway down inside them. The planters are tapered at the base so depending on where you are setting them up, you might want to add rocks or sand in the bottom to weight it down. I haven't quite decided what I will do with them yet, but there are endless possibilities. Outside they could be used for big showy baskets of annuals or topiaries with some trailing vines like ivy or flowering sweet potato spilling over the sides. I've also considered placing them at the end of the driveway and using different foliage, branches and decorative items that could be changed out according to the season or holiday. A couple of solar lanterns on shepherd's hooks would add a nice touch. You don't necessarily need dirt if you use faux plants. Just cut down some pieces of packaging styrofoam and fit them tightly into the planter to hold things in place and you can get your display to look exactly as you want. I've also considered using them as side tables on the patio. Just add a square piece of wood or plexiglass on top painted any color you wish and instant side table with storage beneath.

Contemporary planters with lots of possibilities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these planters. They look & feel like stone, but without the heavy weight. They're not flimsy at all - quite solid actually. The fact that they're plastic, I believe they'll last longer & look better even after years of being outside. I'm adding a picture where I haven't even placed them where I want them & I just stuck some flowers I had around the house in them BUT, even with plants that don't fit the size of the containers, they look great. It may take me a while to get proper large plants for them & find the best placement for my home entryway, but I'm completely enjoying them already.

The planters have a raised drainage hole, to protect the plants and keep their hydrated. A set of two twenty-two-inch stylish planters. They are tall and slender and look great on a front porch, indoors or patio. Beautiful in appearance and sturdy. Another good thing the planters are made from durable recycled plastic. The planters are eye-catching with the white coloring and pebble design. I like that they do not tip over. Look forward to planting some flowers in the planters.

Beautiful Planters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving my new Stephan Roberts Planters. They are simply elegant and looks beautiful in my living room as well as out on my front porch. They are sturdy, well made and I love that they are made of recyclable plastic. The planters are tall enough for plants that have a deeper root system but the tall planters really do stand out and the speckled look blends well with my decor. I highly recommend these planters.

Simply Elegant, Beautiful Addition To My Porch

They are very attractive, but as the description says, they are lightweight.  We live in high winds in Texas so I put some large rocks in the bottom to keep them upright.  I would definitely purchase again.

Love that they come w a drainage if you only wanted to plant something half way down. I brought to use for large plants that have plenty of grow to grow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are nice and tall planters. They have a plastic insert that goes inside the planter about halfway down and it has four large holes for drainage. The planter is not designed to put a plant directly in it, but you need to put a plant in a regular plant pot and then fit it inside of the planter. It's more like a decorative holder for your plant. And it is pretty nice you just have to make sure you can get a plant pot to fit inside of it. I also drilled holes in the bottom of the planter because although it has holes in the plastic insert the bottom does not have holes and I did not want water collecting in the bottom. But it was very easy to drill the holes because it is plastic. It looks pretty nice though it does not look like it's plastic. The color is not solid white as it appears in the pictures, it has black Flex on it to make it look like it is stoneware. It would also be a nice planter for some artificial plants to decorate your front porch and then you would not have to drill holes at the base of the planter. They are also nice and sturdy and they don't seem like they would tilt over even during heavy rains

Tall planters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very substantial in size but do not look that great. The speckled plastic and I think is supposed to look like Stone but they just look like white plastic to me. There is an insert you can slide in so you don't have to fill the entire container up with dirt if it's a live plant but it goes down about halfway. That's still a lot of fill. I wish there was a drain hole on the bottom so it didn't fill up with water so quickly. I think it makes for a better indoor umbrella holder.

Low end but large
