I'm a camper and use the 32 qt. Size. It's perfect keeping everything from paper files to yarn and anything else that needs to store outside in the shed or in the under storage compartment in the camper.  Love the gasket seal and they stack better than any other storage containers.  Not to mention the size is perfect for a small to carry.

This storage box is great for important papers because it has a generous capacity and an effective airtight seal. The latches work well also. It is highly recommended for items that must be stored in less than ideal locations. And
as with all Sterilite products, it is a good value!

Use these to store items in my garage and enclosed patio. Using a few of them to store my children's school work from previous years and so far they've done a wonderful job protecting the paper from moisture and odors

I DO ALOT OF AUTOMOTIVE SWAP MEET'S. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AWHILE FOR A PLASTIC TOTE OR SOMETHING THAT WOULD REPLACE MY CARDBOARD BOXES, AND WOULD FIT ON THE RACK'S THAT I HAVE, THIS WAS JUST RIGHT, SAME SIZE AS THE CARDBOARD BOXES THAT I HAVE AND IS 2-1/2 TALLER MORE THINGS TO PUT IN IT... HAS SOMEWHAT OF A HANDLE AT THE LID, AND THE CARDBOARD BOXES HAS NOPLACE TO GRAB...

1933 GASKET BOX

It's a decent plastic box and the gasket is a good idea, especially if you're storing something like dog food.  Unfortunately, the weak link nullifies that advantage. Less than a year after owning one of these, every single handle broke. The little pegs that hold the handles on are under-designed for active storage. It's pretty obvious the intent for these is to store and leave them sit. We used ours for storing dog food and opened it about every 2 weeks to fill smaller containers.  Each handle had about the same resilience because they all broke off within about 2 weeks of each other.  So they're consistent, I'll give them that. I suggest that Sterilite take the time to actually test their products in a real-life scenario. That might avoid issues like this.

Has a weak link

I bought 7 of these containers about a year ago. 5 of the 7 containers have broken latches. 8 total broken latches. We bought them to store extra food products (flour, sugar, beans, etc.). Do not recommend because if one of the latches breaks the container doesn't seal properly.

Sterilite water/air tight containers

I bought 5 of these 32 Qt gasket containers to contain all my desk files.  3 of the five had warped inner pieces where the hanging files are to be hung.  So I had to alternate the sides of hanging file folders.  Not a great design.  If I ever buy one of these containers I would check closely in the store if the channels were not warped on either side of the container.

Good idea, but very poor engineering for the latches, whose tabs break way too easily.

I bought 6 of these 32 qt gasket boxes with the intent of finally getting all my records and files stored properly vs boxes with critters etc. ewww.

I was extremely disappointed to find that none of the hanging letter file folers fit properly causing them to fall inside as the plastic rail curves inward making the boxes useļess unless I can find out how others are making it work. Can someone please help,?
