Fails to close properly due to design issue.

Excellent basic plastic stepon garbage can. Uses 13 gallon trash bags. The can I received was in perfect condition and. works as expected. There's no internal can so I'll need to get large rubber bands to secure the bag, but since it's so much less expensive than the other trash cans I wanted, I can live with the minor inconvenience.

Sterlie usually has very good quality plastic products and this quality in line with their other products.

Exceeded expectations for under $20. Not smell-proof of course but you won't find that until double the price. Easy to open. Seems relatively durable but maybe not the easiest to clean compared to stainless, if pets/kids etc. Came with an extra lid, not sure if intentional or not

Great size holds a lot of trash. There is a clip that helps hold bag in place.  foot pedal works good... dont buy motion sensor trashcans... who wants to change batteries on their trashcan? Give me a break. I havent smelled any trash so lid seems to contain smells well enough for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this trash can 5 stars because it met all my expectations. First, the price was fair and reasonable for the quality. Second, it came with all the necessary parts, which made setup easy and hassle-free. And most importantly, it functions exactly as expected—no issues at all. It does its job well, and I'm happy with the purchase!

It definitely gets the job done. It's not a fancy trashcan, but you don't have to touch it while you're cooking. It's convenient for small places and we love it.

So far so good. I was worried at the beginning on whether it would hold up due to the mechanism being plastic too. But it's performing great. We are not too rough with it our products in general .

This is a great can for the price!   It works just fine and the liners are perfect.   
Did you see the metal ones, they are over $50....  crazy, this was $18 online.   Love it, it's a great size...

Although it was a bit of a chore figuring out how to assemble it without instructions. It's holding up pretty well and fits a small kitchen without making the space look cluttered.

The can is the size I wanted and everything might be OK except Walmart sent the wrong lid.  The footpedal is totally useless b/c the lid is WRONG.  Since it is large and sending it back would be more than it is worth (and I had already disposed of my old one)  I kept it.  I like it except for the fact that the footpedal is the reason I purchased this can.

This trash can looks like it will open with the foot pedal - and it will IF and only if there is NO TRASH BAG INSIDE. Once a trash bag joins the party, nothing works the way it is supposed to. What is the point of buying a trash can that is larger than 10 gallons with a pedal open top if you either 1. Can't use trash bags so the top will work OR 2. Use trash bags and have the foot pedal not open the top.
