Lid not strong but great packing storage capacity

One of my favorite storage bins. I have bought about 10 of them and they are a great product. It has been nine months so far, but the lids do not last very long. They started to crack and fall apart at six months. I have two of them that are no longer usable because the lids do not work on them anymore. 

Do you know where I can purchase a replacement lid for this product? I have looked and I cannot find a place to purchase them without buying the whole thing. Selling the replacement lids through a third party could be a good source of income for your company.

Overall Great Product. Be careful with the lids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tote is a great size for organizing and storing holiday decorations. The colors are easily recognizable for when storing in the attic or garage and makes it easy to color coordinate.

These are great boxes and they pile up beautifully. It would be wonderful, however, if they could be available in all sorts of plain solid colors all year around such as:
- Solid orange for Halloween decorations
- Solid red for Christmas 
- Solid green for Summer games
- Solid blue for plastic plates, glasses etc.... picnic stuff 
- Solid brown for garden stuff: flower pots, etc... etc...
- Solid grey (most unattractive) for the next garage sale. 
.... making sure also that, when asked, the stores can confirm the correct color they are holding - ..... went to 4 different stores last November to obtain Orange Totes to store all the Halloween stuff - They confirmed they had them, but when arriving there they only had Grey ones. Perhaps a clear color code should be specified?  Very much hoping that

Most useful to store anything!

I have two totes with no lids. Because your lids broke down and cannot be used. I don't see why I should recycle two good totes and go buy two more with lids. Most of the time they don't get recycled and wind up in landfill. I read another customer who had the same problem. Read your reply. As far as a business is since it makes sense to you do not sell replacement lids. But to your customers, we need replacement lids.

Lid replacement

The tote is a good size and cute color. However, the lid doesn't snap shut and just sits on it. I didn't realize until I got it home because it was an online order. The price is fine, as it was on sale, but I may return it because it doesn't feel that the things will be secure with a lid that doesn't snap on. Would have given 5 stars if the lid fastened.

These 18 gallon totes feel very shy of their predecessors. I have used sterilite 18 gallon totes for years. I have over 110 of them. My local retailers started carrying only this style. I had been using the (1830) design. So I figured why not try the new design. These now do not stack with my old totes. (Guess that's my OCD problem). So I got over that. But stacking them soon revealed their flaws. Much weaker. I used to stack old style 5 high. With these, Same weight only three high. Don't waste your money.
